Another day, another report of vehicular drama. Justin Bieber has a fleet of cars so large he could drive a different one every day of the week and not have to repeat. But lately it’s his white Ferrari that seems to be causing the 19-year-old pop superstar the most headaches.
For the second time this week, police responded to reports of the $200,000 car speeding around in the singer’s gated Calabasas, California, community on Wednesday, adding to a long list of JB’s recent motor migraines.
According to TMZ, Bieber’s hot ride was pulled over by police for speeding just days after he allegedly ripped around the community in the same car in an incident that drew the ire of former NFL player Keyshawn Johnson.
And, like that episode, it appears that perhaps Justin was not behind the wheel at the time. TMZ reported that Bieber friend Lil Twist was driving the car when it zoomed out of the gates of the community on Wednesday, and he was let off with a warning.
Twist was also behind the wheel of another of Justin’s cars, his all-chrome Fisker Karma, when he dinged it up outside a San Fernando Valley liquor store earlier this year (and again in March when it was pulled over for an unsafe lane change), as well as in January when a paparazzo was run over and killed while trying to shoot a picture of the Ferrari. Bieber’s reps have said that he was not driving the car during the Memorial Day incident that prompted a near-confrontation with Johnson and a visit from police.
Those are just the latest in what is an increasingly long list of car troubles for the “Boyfriend” star:
» October 2011: The singer was given a verbal warning when he cut off a police cruiser while rolling in a three-car caravan with friends.
» December 2011: Bieber was pulled over for making an unsafe left turn at an intersection and given a warning while driving yet another custom whip, a Cadillac CTS-V that is tricked out to look like the Batmobile.
» July 2012: Police pulled over the Fisker on an L.A. freeway after Bieber was involved in an high-speed chase with paparazzi, which landed him a citation for driving in a “reckless manner at speeds in excess of 65 mph.” One witness claimed Bieber was driving like a “maniac” at nearly 100 mph.
» November 2012: Bieber cited for making an unsafe left turn and for having an expired registration on the Ferrari.
» January 2013: Twist was pulled over by police for speeding on the 405 Freeway while driving the Ferrari; paparazzo Chris Guerra was struck and killed by another car while trying to photograph the scene.
» February 2013: The Ferrari was pulled over for having windows that were too darkly tinted; another Bieber friend, Lil Za, was reportedly driving it at the time. That run-in came during the same week that Lil Twist reportedly bottomed-out the Ferrari while peeling out of the Four Seasons in Beverly Hills and doing $10,000 worth of damage to the custom vehicle.

» March 2013: Back in California, Bieber got into a verbal spat with a neighbor in his gated community after the man complained that the pop star was driving the Ferrari recklessly. According to reports, the neighbor approached Bieber and the interaction got heated, ending with accusations that Bieber spit on the man, which could land him a battery charge.
