Watch The Emotional Paul Walker ‘Fast & Furious’ Tribute Video

That look. In his starring roles in the “Fast & Furious” films, Paul Walker had perfected a knowing, sly half-grin that made his character, Brian O’Conner, a lovable rogue you rooted for.

That look is all over an emotional, heart-tugging two-minute clip posted on the franchises’ YouTube page on Wednesday that pays tribute to the 40-year-old actor who died on Saturday
in a car crash. Cued to the dramatic “Coming Home” by P. Diddy and Skylar Grey, the tribute opens with the aftermath of Brian’s first (unsuccessful) race against his soon-to-be-best friend, Vin Diesel’s Dominic.

“Dude, I almost had you,” a blonde, smiling Walker says in the iconic scene. It them moves on to a “Fast” family dinner and a montage of clips from the four other “Fast” films Walker appeared in. And in each one, you get a balance of Walker staring off pensively into the distance and sharing good times with Dominic in one of their tricked-out rides.

“I’m coming home, I’m coming home/Tell the world that I’m coming home,” Grey sings in the background in the lead-up to the emotional scene from “Fast Five” when Dominic cheers his band of outlaw brothers and sisters. “The most important thing in life will always be the people in this room, right here, right now,” Dominic says over the song’s haunting piano refrain. “Salud mi familia.”

The clip ends with Walker on a racetrack leaning against a blue sports car with the words “In Loving Memory” written above.

Universal announced on Wednesday that production on the seventh “Fast” film is being temporarily shut down
in the wake of Walker’s death. The investigation of the crash that killed Walker and his friend Roger Rodas is still ongoing. The results of Walker’s autopsy were released Wednesday, with the Los Angeles County coroner listing his cause of death as “combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.”
