Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose officially tied the knot earlier this week, with plans for an official wedding ceremony to follow this fall. By that time, their son Sebastian “The Bash” Taylor Thomaz might be ready to participate in the festivities, because according to new mom Amber, Bash is growing fast.
The couple welcomed their son in February, sharing the news with fans on Twitter and Instagram, and Amber tells MTV News that he’s already on track to be as tall as his parents.
“Bash is doing really well. He’s the size of a 6-month-old and he’s only 4 months,” she revealed. “He’s above average in his height. You know Wiz is like 6′ 4” and I’m like 5′ 9,” so he’s a big boy. He’s healthy and he’s laughing now, he’s doing really great.”
On Monday, Wiz took to Twitter to announce that the couple are now legally married. “Me and Amber got married today. Weddings this fall. Thought I’d let yall know,” he wrote.
In March 2012, they announced their engagement, with the Pittsburgh rapper sharing a photo of Amber’s oval-cut diamond ring on Twitter, writing, “She Said Yes!!!” Amber followed up, telling fans, “He made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!! We Love all u Rosebuds, Rosestuds & Taylors so much!”
Amber’s pregnancy announcement came only a few months later on the red carpet of the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards in September. “Well, Sway, you know you my brother man, so we had to do it with you first and we had to do it with the whole world, and just let everybody know that we’re expecting a beautiful young baby,” Wiz told Sway Calloway, excitedly adding, “We’re having a baby!”
