Miley Cyrus may be fined by Mexico’s federal government after getting her butt spanked with the country’s flag by one of her dancers at her show on Tuesday night in Monterrey. In lawmakers’ eyes, the act was disrespectful (it also happened to be Mexico’s Independence Day), and one official from the region, Francisco Trevino, stated that she may either have to cough up $1,200 or be kept in custody for three days.

She took the lawsuit to California court on Wednesday with nine complaints, including copyright infringement, and said that Wine stole the previously unreleased tracks from her personal computer and put them out without her permission.

NERD fans may have a new reason to be happy, because at Pharrell‘s Wednesday night set at the iTunes Festival in London, band member Shay Haley hinted at an upcoming album. “You’re gonna like this s— we’re gonna release” were his exact words, and Pharrell highlighted that there will always be a NERD. They didn’t say when new material would drop, but it will probably be awhile since the “Come Get It Bae” singer is on tour and will be a coach on “The Voice” in the fall.
