This ‘Walking Dead’ Parody Reveals The Real Zombies—Drunk People

by 35 mins ago

The truth is: zombies already live and walk among us. Sure, they might not be all putrid flesh and monotone-bleats of “Brains!” but they’re certainly no less scary in a “The Walking Dead” sort of way. Because really that’s what they are: meet “The Walking Drunk.”

Created by the YouTube folks over at Marca Blanca (they do a lot of video parodies that involve goats), “The Walking Drunk” lets us in on a little secret while simultaneously celebrating the fifth season of the AMC series: those shuffling mouth-breathers better known as zombies have already ingratiated themselves into the public sphere!

We just don’t always notice them because they’re usually toppled over or passed out in the grass from one too many Long Island Iced Teas. When they’re on the go? Positively frightful, but rarely are their movements documented so well.

The Pizza-Eating Puppy In Disney’s New Short Film ‘Feast’ Is Your Actual Spirit Animal

by 2 mins ago

If you were to put a gun to our head and ask us what the two most important things in life are, we’d probably (understandably) panic, and say puppies and food. The trailer for Disney Animation’s latest short, “Feast” has both of those things in deliciously adorable spades.

If the style looks dreamy and lovely it’s likely because it came from first-time director Patrick Osborne, he was head of animation on the dreamily poignant and Oscar-winning “Paperman,” was in charge of the whole thing.

“Feast” follows a precious pooch named Winston, traversing the peaks and valleys of his owner’s love life as seen through the many meals the duo share — which sounds like primo territory for adorableness, cute overloads, and all of the feels. The short will play before “Big Hero 6″ showings starting when that film opens on November 7, 2014.

No YOU’RE the one tearing up right now at an animated puppy, get out of here!

The 8 Most Amazingly Awkward Movie Marketing Tie-Ins

by 5 mins ago

These awkward, hilarious, and kinda-sorta the weirdest, most amazing movie tie-in products are proof positive that even with 100 sets of eyes working on a marketing a film, sometimes things get a little strange.

But don’t just take our word for it — check out 8 of our favorite, fantastical finds.

1. “Harry Potter” Vibrating Broomstick

Don't Panic Magazine/Warner Bros.

Accio Sexual Awakening! Wingardium leviosaaaahhhhhhhhh jeez, this is going to make dinner conversations with little Melody a little weird.

2. “The Avengers” Cologne

Marvel

What do you think a superhero would smell like? They’re running around ALL the time, wearing body-conscious, likely not-very-breathable suits as they battle the wildest intergalactic and/or homegrown threats on the dirty, dirty streets of planet Earth. But HEY! Maybe all that patriotism counteracts that.

3. “Rocky” Action Figure — “The Meat” Edition

Go Figure Action Figures

All those blood stains on the “don’t get the DNA on your clothes” jacket, coupled with a half rack of cow, sans skin? Maybe we’re overreacting here but this Rocky doll feels like it would be more at home in the playpen of a burgeoning serial murderperson than anywhere else.

4. The Jar Jar Binks Lollipop

Lucasfilms

Number of people who’ve ever wanted to make out with Jar Jar Binks: 0. Number of people who can thanks to a french-kissing lollipop made in the “Star Wars” creatures’ likeness? INFINITY!

5. “Star Trek” Waffles

Iggy Azalea’s Sign Language Interpreter Is Our New Hero

by 54 mins ago

We have to give major props to the American Sign Language interpreter Iggy Azalea hired for her Austin City Limits gig on Saturday (October 11).

Even though the quality of this video isn’t the best, you can tell that homegirl is going H.A.M. on this vintage Iggy track from 2012, “Pu$$y.”

Azalea posted the clip on Instagram Sunday afternoon, touting it as “awesome” thanks to her ASL interpreter’s “signing with sass.”

That interpreter is Amber Galloway Gallego, and her sweet sign language skills are nothing new: She kinda sorta killed it interpreting for Kendrick Lamar at Lollapalooza 2013. Watch her own the crap out of “F–kin’ Problems.”

You can check out more of Galloway Gallego’s work on her YouTube channel, which boasts tons of videos of her interpreting a variety of songs into ASL. Be sure to check out her rendition of Eminem’s “Rap God,” particularly that notoriously impossible-to-spit third verse.

This Howling Baby Bulldog Is The Only Dog That Matters Right Now

by 26 mins ago

You might think that a human is writing these words, but actually: I am a ghost. Because I have died the sweetest of deaths after being slain by the cute overload that is this baby bulldog puppy trying to howl. Oh, the sweet, sweet feels of adorable preciousness. It was WORTH IT.

You can try and resist this pooch, but you’ll fail. Be it the brindle, the wrinkles, his bumbling attempts at walking and/or everything in between, there is no escaping this much cute. His ferocity — coupled with his sheer inability to howl because he’s a widdle iddle baby-waby-poo (I can only speak in baby talk now btw) — makes the whole thing more endearing and precious than any small animal has any right to be. Truly, this is peak pup.

Maybe you’ve believed yourself to have found such cuteness in the past, but you were wrong. I know this because I am a ghost now — I see and know and feel everything. This, my dear friends, this is the apex of adorability. There is no better baby than this.

Say goodbye to your loved ones, and enjoy.

Evangeline Lilly’s ‘Hobbit’ Poster Is Here — And Fierce

by 14 mins ago

With “The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies” about to be unleashed upon us non-magical beings, it only makes sense that new posters should be unveiled in anticipation. Hey, director Peter Jackson doesn’t do small when it comes to his Middle Earth empire, folks.

We’ve already gotten one gigantic banner poster featuring the titular five armies going at it for Smaug’s treasure, and in recent days we’ve also been made privy to a series of solo shots highlighting the latest “Hobbit” installment’s cast. The newest one features Evangeline Lilly’s character, Tauriel, brooding in a “We’re not gonna take it!” sorta way.

Obviously this is one woodland Elf you don’t want to mess with — not unless you want an arrow between your eyes.

Blue steel, Tauriel! Blue steel!

“The Hobbit: The Battle Of The Five Armies” opens in theaters on December 17, 2014.

This Supercut Proves ‘Game Of Thrones’ Is Actually ‘Game Of Wine’: Watch Now

by 8 mins ago

No one was under the impression that the Realm-dwellers of “Game Of Thrones” were anything less than boozehounds, but have you ever stopped to think about just how much alcohol these Westerosi royals actually consume?

The answer: a lot. Like, so much. All your wine are belong to them. All of it. It’s basically raining wine all over the Known World, but only a few houses have what it takes to really get lubed up, as evidenced by The Movie Maniac’s new supercut highlighting every moment of consumption over the past four seasons.

Heck, the video even tallies which house “got their drink on” the most. We’ll give you three guesses — and the first two don’t count — as to which family leads the pack. (Hint: It’s the one with the guy who claims to be the “god of tits and wine.” Between him and his sister, I mean, jeeeeez…)

Watch The First 4 Minutes Of ‘The Walking Dead’ Premiere Right Here

by 10 mins ago

AMC has done fans of “The Walking Dead” a total solid, putting the first four minutes of tonight’s Season 5 premiere on the Internet for all to see. Only, it’s almost too stressful to enjoy, and we don’t like how it ends. Hoo boy, are things about to get terrifying.

Related: 11 Secrets From “The Walking Dead” New York Comic-Con Panel

First, we should warn you, it may be appropriate to hold onto your butts. In this flashback, we see Gareth and Co. trapped in what looks to be the same rail car at Terminus that —- jumping ahead to the present day —- Rick, Daryl, Michonne and everyone else are inside of, prepping for what looks to be a real hootenanny (if you refer to epic battles as such, we mean) with the Termites.

And you know that whole “Are the Terminus folks cannibals or not?” quandary? Yeah, well, that one gets answered pretty quickly as far as we’re concerned, given the context cues and all. Our heads hurt just thinking about what we just witnessed. Yours probably will, too. Don’t say we didn’t warn you!

Watch This Kid Go ‘Full Diva’ On Live TV Because YASSS

by 4 mins ago

Ready to have a bit of L-I-F-E breathed into your ho-hum Sunday? Then look no further than this video of a kid going “full diva on live TV.”

We’re not sure why a crowd had congregated for this particular news broadcast (h/t UPROXX), but one thing is certain: This kid’s just gotta dance.

He must know that you only get one shot at making a first impression, so he just went for it. And we respect that. No, we don’t just respect it — we admire and adore it. We wish we had half as much confidence as this little vogueing bundle of joy.

If you need us, we’ll be watching and re-watching this clip all day.

Watch This Clumsy Baby Elephant Get Rescued By His Protective Mother

by 16 mins ago

Well, the cutest baby animal fail to ever happen to the Internet has arrived: look at this tiny elephant! Look at this wee, adorable little guy fall, only to be rescued shortly thereafter by his parents. This is just the cutest thing!

That poor, little, intrepid baby ‘phant: all he wanted was to make it up that hill, regardless of the odds (and other, far easier ways in which he could’ve done it) stacked against success. Have no fear, the bonds between baby and mother elephant withstand spectators, zoos and more. He seems a little embarrassed after, but his mother lets him shelter from the crowd under her enormous legs.

We won’t say any more, lest we run the risk of ruining it for you. But rest assured, elephants are great parents. They way they run to the rescue here is very touching.

Aww, it looks like this lil wannabe Dumbo got himself well and spooked by his misadventure! Would it make him feel better to know that he just slayed the hearts of at least a thousand Internet folk?
