Watch Marvel’s Special Look At ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

by 14 mins ago

The hype machine for Marvel’s “Avengers: Age of Ultron” has long left the station, and its latest pit stop was Marvel’s “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”

In a never-before-seen special look at the blockbuster sequel, which aired during Tuesday (October 28) night’s episode of the series, titled “A Fractured House,” the heroes all try to lift Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir — while tossing back beers in Tony Stark’s penthouse — but to no avail.

Only Captain America is able to move the hammer slightly (the look on Thor’s face is priceless!) before the Asgardian easily lifts and flips it around before telling the group, “You’re all not worthy.”

“How could you be worthy?” Ultron asks the inebriated Avengers as he emerges in a somewhat mangled form. “You’re all puppets, tangled in strings. There are no strings on me.”

Director Joss Whedon previewed the exclusive scene earlier this year at San Diego Comic Con to give fan boys an earlier look at the indestructible absolutist known as Ultron.

“I know you’re ‘good’ people,” the metallic skull-faced robot continues in the sneak peek. “I know you mean well, but you just didn’t think it through. There is only one path to peace…your extermination.”

Fans, of course, immediately took to Twitter to offer up their thoughts on the latest footage.

The special look comes a week after the official “Avengers: Age Of Ultron” teaser trailer leaked. (Dammit, Hydra.) Check it out, ...

‘Clarence’ Almost Featured Cartoon Network’s First Gay Kiss

by 1 hour ago

To kiss or not to kiss? That is the question Cartoon Network faced when considering whether to air a kiss between two gay male characters on one of its new shows, “Clarence.”

If you missed the très français double-kiss on the cheek from last week’s “Neighborhood Grill” episode, here’s the scene in question.

According to Spencer Rothbell, a writer for the animated series, the network decided to downgrade the potentially groundbreaking moment from a smooch on the lips to a more ambiguous kiss on the cheek by the time the episode aired.

Screen Shot 2014-10-29 at 12.00.13 AM

“Originally the guy had flowers and they kissed on the mouth,” he told to a fan on Twitter according to screenshots collected by E! News and a Tumblr user. Rothbell’s Twitter handle is currently set to private.

What do you think? Should the Cartoon Network have left in the kiss? Or is it at least a step in the right direction to have gay characters present in their programs, albeit in the background? Let us know in the comments.

Jesse Williams Raises Questions About Mike Brown’s Shooting, Trayvon Martin Costumes

by 14 mins ago

In light of the leaks that have come from the grand jury’s official inquiry into the shooting death of Michael Brown by Ferguson, Missouri police officer Darren Wilson, actor Jesse Williams tweeted a series of comments on Tuesday (October 28) asking his followers some hard questions about the case and its after effects.

“After blasting a teen to death in front of 6+ eyewitnesses, it doesn’t appear that #DarrenWilson will even have to get off his couch,” Williams wrote, adding, “Very rarely are there over 6 eyewitnesses to a murder. That alone, never mind the immutable facts, warrants a trial. #WeHaveASystemForThat.”

The leaks appear to support officer Wilson’s account, which was seen as “an inappropriate effort to influence public opinion” by the Justice Department.

“Let’s say #MikeBrown did fight w/ #DarrenWilson- let’s say it was worse, HE SHOT UP A THEATER. No weapon + significant distance = Can’t Kill,” Williams wrote. “Of course #MikeBrown’s blood is in the car- the cop shot him. Giving him every reason to run. None of #DarrenWilson’s blood in the car tho.”

Williams is not just upset with the events in Ferguson this summer and their aftermath. He’s also frustrated with the way that the incident has been handled on the Internet and in the court of public opinion.

“The new marketplace of anonymous messageboard tough guys, twitter trolls & cowardly lions will continue to rejoice. #CulturalWeakness,” he wrote.

Williams also connected these points to ...

This Producer Explains How His Demo Became Kanye West’s ‘New Slaves’

by 34 mins ago

Kanye West’s politically-charged single, “New Slaves,” was the perfect sendoff for his most recent LP, Yeezus, but it wasn’t until recently that fans got the 411 on how the track came together.

Benjamin Bronfman of the production collective Teachers revealed to Rolling Stone that it was his demo that was used as the skeleton for the computer blipped soundscape on the song.

“He called me, like, ‘Yo, what do you got?’” Bronfman said.

The producer, who previously supplied the voice for ‘Ye’s “Monster” from the critically-acclaimed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, quickly got to work at Manhattan’s SMT Studios and sent the Chicago native seven or eight beats from the sessions, including “Cruel Cold Winter,” which was eventually used for the track.

“He kept saying, ‘Just make it hot, make it really dope,’” he said. “He didn’t really get into specifics, which is funny — he’s the type of person who will get really specific in person, but not on the phone. I heard that they were working on a follow-up to Cruel Summer, so I was just kind of riffing.”

The A.P.C. designer loved the beat, but didn’t tell Bronfman until a secret listening session for the album in Roseland.

“I got word, like, ‘One of your tracks made it. It’s ill. Come to the show, we’ll talk about it there,’” he said. “He almost accentuated the track more. The only part he took was the beginning part — he made it even more minimalistic.”

Bronfman saw Kanye a few ...

The Taylor Gang spitter from the Bay Area gets some assistance from AVRY and Wiz Khalifa on the D Wells and The Elevaterz-produced track. Listen to it below.

“Late nights locked in the studio, I know I’m great, but gotta prove it, though/ To shine on these b—hes and these groupie hoes, that used to play that bourgeois role,” he raps.

The Blacc Hollywood MC adds some very contemplative lyrics that seem to delve into his embattled personal life.

“I’m going through some things, but I gotta eat, people hit my phone hopin’ I’m good to speak/ That’s what family does, pick you up, help you when you weak,” he raps.

This Guy Didn’t Just Win The Lottery—He Won The Same One Twice

by 8 mins ago

Winning the lottery once is a long shot, but winning the lottery twice? That’s impossible.

Until now.

That’s right, Kenneth J. Stokes of Norwood, Mass, won the same lottery twice for a grand total payout of $546,000.

How in the blank did he do that, you ask?

Apparently, while playing the lotto on Monday (October 20), he forgot that he had been gifted a season pass to the Massachusetts State Lottery Lucky for Life drawing by his family and bought a second ticket with the exact same lucky numbers as the season pass ticket.

“The representative called the individual who was the owner of the season ticket and informed him of that and then he was obviously elated to find out that he had won on that ticket,” Massachusetts State Lottery director of communications Christian Teja told ABC News.

“They hung up and he realized that he had purchased the same ticket on his own for that same drawing. During the phone call when they had spoken, the representative had mentioned there was another winner form Norwood. He called back and it all came together when he was like, ‘I’m that guy in Norwood.’”

Talk about having a lucky day. The odds of Stokes’ lottery double dip is a whopping one in 9.7 trillion.

Stokes, who plans to use his winnings to pay his son’s tuition, pay off his daughter’s car and take his family on vacation, opted for the one-time cash payment ($390,000 pre-tax, $273,000 after tax) instead of the $25,000 per year for 20 ...

Did You Know The G-Unit House Has A Stripper Swing?

by 2 mins ago

Like any family, G-Unit has had its fallouts, beefs and, ultimately, after all the Twitter rants and Instagram misunderstandings, the reunion.

The reunification of 50 Cent and his band of lyrical soldiers, Kidd Kidd, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Tony Yayo, was completely unexpected, but a welcomed surprise in hip-hop.

In the new Kellen Dengler-directed documentary, XXL goes behind the scenes at Fif’s expansive mansion in Farmington, Connecticut with rap’s ultimate crew and gets all the dirt—including the group’s sexcapades.

“I’m just saying, it’s a lot of rappers ol’ ladies been a victim of this swing right here,” said Buck, pointing at the sex swing in the house’s “stripper room.”

“We should have females autograph it, if she sat her ass on here, just autograph it,” he continued. “It’d be a lot of dead rappers, bruh, they’ll be killin they self like, ‘B-tch, you was over there with them n—as? I seen your name on the swing!’ Unfortunately, for a lot of you rap n—as, a lot of y’all ol’ ladies has been on here performing. Straight up.”

In between stories about the house’s debaucherous history, the G-Unit general did manage to squeeze in some business.

“We made sure that we mixed, mastered and produced each one of the records til we felt like it was the best possible sound on each one of the songs,” 50 said. “So I’m doing it faster by releasing EPs, two of ‘em. They’ll get a chance to see The Beauty first, ...

Watch Benedict Cumberbatch Do Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’ Walk Better Than She Can

by 1 min ago

Quick, somebody call the Beyagency!

It appears as if Benedict Cumberbatch has absconded with Beyoncé’s “Crazy In Love” walk.

The star of “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug” was a guest on The Graham Norton Show in the UK when comedian Miranda Hart began showing off her talent for imitating other people’s gaits.

She then recruited Cumberbatch to get up and duplicate the “Flawless” singer’s signature strut with her. The actor obliged and even added his own little flair on the tail end of his sashay.

Just in case you need to compare, here’s Queen Bey’s version:
