While everyone else can only repeat the “Yeezy taught me” refrain from My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy‘s “Blame Game,” Andre Pitts can say he actually lived it.

This 19-year-old Visual Communications student’s life was forever altered this past Friday when his graphic design class at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College was guest-taught by none other than Kanye West.

Complex caught up with the aspiring graphic designer to get the inside scoop on what went down in the Professor Yeezy-taught class and what the L.A. native learned from “the No. 1 most impactful artist of our generation.”

“It was on Friday at about 1:30 in the afternoon. I walked into my class and…then all of a sudden Kanye walked in through the door after we were done with our presentations,” Pitts told Complex. “Well my heart dropped, I didn’t believe what I was seeing. For four seconds I was like, paused. I was like, “Is that who I think it is?” After that I just started to try to pull out my phone and get a photo of him.”

The “I Am A God” MC, who was leading the class to satisfy his court-mandated 250 hours of community service, needed no introduction. He just launched into an almost two-hour dissertation about his thoughts on life in general and his inspirations.

Two minutes and forty seconds — that’s how long Tyler, the Creator was able to play it straight during a routine interview with Los Angeles’ “KTLA Morning News” on September 23 before going all “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” on the three anchors behind the news desk.

“Guess what time it is! Birthday time!” the Odd Future co-founder yelled with glee in the middle of answering one of the host’s question about his upcoming Camp Flog Gnaw festival.

While flailing his arms and grabbing a birthday cake, his O.F. cohort Jasper Dolphin entered stage right with confetti, balloons and noisemakers.

All that was missing from the impromptu celebration was the “Yonkers” MC screaming “Mecca lecca hi, mecca hiney ho!”

Who’s birthday was it, you ask? “It’s everyone’s birthday,” Tyler explained, giddily. “Everyone close your eyes, and make a wish.” During all of the glorious confusion, one of the hosts hit the nail on the head about the unexpected rapper’s antics: “This is what Tyler, the Creator does,” host Jessica Holmes said.

Andre 3000 has always been different.

Outside of his incredible skills as an MC, it’s the reason why fans are so enamored with him and why he’s afforded the latitude to explore the role of Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic, “Jimi: All Is By My Side.”

But the rapper born Andre Benjamin’s choice of actor to play Big Boi in a potential movie about Outkast still managed to surprise.

“It would be great to make an Outkast movie right now, but instead of really serious, make it a full comedy — like Kevin Hart would play Big Boi,” Dre said during a Q&A panel following a preview screening of his critically-acclaimed Hendrix film Sunday (September 21) night at The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles.

Think that’s an odd choice? How about Three Stacks’ choice to bring himself to life on the big screen.

“We should cast somebody stupid — like Leonardo DiCaprio,” he added.

Outside of his widely experimental casting choices, the “Hey Ya” MC would also like to see his longtime partner-in-rhyme get the proper respect he deserves as a lyricist.

“One of the biggest things that kills me is when people try to put Big Boi down,” he told Rolling Stone. “The chemistry that made Outkast was the balance. And honestly, Big’s a much sharper rapper than I am. If I was going to a battle, I’d definitely bet on him instead of me.”

After 23 years of marriage, Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner are heading for divorce.

People confirms that the “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star and executive producer filed for divorce from her spouse on Monday (September 22), 11 months after the two initially announced their separation.

According to court documents, Kris, 58, has requested that she and Bruce, 64, share joint physical and legal custody of daughter Kylie, who is still a minor.

The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch has also asked that she maintain possession of all assets, including jewelry, that she has amassed since her separation from Bruce began in 2013, and that the remainder of the couple’s assets be divided at a later time. According to TMZ, the couple did not sign a pre-nuptial agreement.

E! News reports that Kris cited “irreconcilable differences” as grounds for divorce, although a source close to the family told People, “They both did it together… It’s all done and there’s no drama or messiness. They worked out all details over the last few months.”

Kris and Bruce married in 1991. They have two children together: Kendall, 18, and Kylie, 17.

When Mike Tyson tells people not to touch you, there’s a pretty good chance that no one will dare come near you.

That’s a lesson Ryan Chesley found out firsthand when the retired boxer came to his rescue after he crashed his motorcycle on a Las Vegas interstate.

The Associated Press reports that Chesley was on Interstate 15 Tuesday (September 16) night headed to Las Vegas when a taxi allegedly cut him off and sent him flying off of his chopper.

What happened next was like a dream.

Chesley’s attorney, Stephen Stubbs, told the AP that his client was lying on the ground when he looked up and saw Iron Mike, who had witnessed the whole thing and stopped traffic to rush to his aid like a face-tattooed guardian angel.

“He thought he was hallucinating,” Stubbs said of Chesley. “He thought he was in some other world.”

Chesley suffered torn ligaments, nerve damage and broken bones from the accident, but was still able to whip out his cellphone to take a picture of his hero.

Stubbs added that Tyson, who kept the 29-year old crash victim calm until the paramedics arrived, “just left, like some kind of superhero.”

To show his gratitude, Chesley sent Tyson a fruit basket with a hand-written thank you letter this past Friday.

“Thank you so much for looking over me after my accident,” read the note, according to Tyson’s assistant, Steve Lott. “It has to be the most reassuring thing in the world to have Mike Tyson telling people not to touch ...

Get ready to laugh your ass off again, “Saturday Night Live” fans.

According to The Wrap, funny man Jim Carrey is coming back to host “SNL” for the third time.

The former “In Living Color” star will hit the Studio 8H stage with the rest of the cast early this season to promote his upcoming movie, “Dumb and Dumber To,” , the sequel to 1994’s cult classic “Dumb and Dumber” will hit theaters on November 14.

Carrey, who starred in “The Incredible Burt Wonderstone” and “Kick-Ass 2,” hosted the late-night sketch comedy show back in 1996 and most recently in 2011.

“SNL” will kick off its 40th season on September 27 with host Chris Pratt, who catapulted himself to bonafide movie star as the lead in Marvel’s breakout hit, “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Timing is everything.

So Your Old Droog is striking while the iron is still hot with his latest release, “Secondhand Gunsmoke.”

The Coney Island rapper premiered the Superblack-produced track on Sway’s Shade 45 morning show Thursday (September 18).

Not surprisingly, Droog rides the nostalgic bass line with lyrics that highlight his dexterity with metaphor and prose that lives up to all the previous comparisons to Nas.

“Who am I? The relative unknown, who killed 8,000 birds with one stone/Who you? Son you just a waste of breath, and I don’t give a eff,” he raps.

Whenever Prince releases a new song, it’s a sonic event.

His latest, “FUNKNROLL,” is no different.

The uptempo track finds the Purple One at his funkiest, crooning about what else, having a good time.

“Finally beloved we meet at last, middle of the here, never mind the past/ Only way to get you where you never been, is party like you ain’t gonna party again,” he sings.

As much as the Planet Earth singer delivers during each verse, it’s the chorus that really takes the “feel good” up a notch.

“Let’s funk / Let’s roll / Get it turned up, get it out of control / Get into the rhythm, it’s good for the soul,” he sings.

“FUNKNROLL” is the third single to be released from Prince’s upcoming LP, ART OFFICIAL AGE, which is set to drop on September 30.
