Britney Spears’ Album 8 ‘Recipe’: Get A Taste!

Britney Spears has been cooking up her eighth album for a year and a half now, and it looks like she’s finally found the perfect recipe.

On Saturday, the pop star took to her Facebook page to reveal that her new collection will be a mix of her previous seven albums, combining everything from the “not that innocent” Oops!… I Did It Again and “self-confident” Britney to her “personal” Circus and “powerful” Femme Fatale. She’ll also add the “sweet” flavors of “…Baby One More Time” and the “damn hot” In the Zone.

“Mix it all together in a vanilla-smelling studio. Pour some B-love into it. Stir it carefully with a producer’s spoon until combined. Wait about a year,” she wrote. “Pour the mixture into CD cases and cover the top with ‘bonuses’ stickers.”

Spears, who recently released her latest single , teamed up with famed producers will.i.am, Hit Boy, and William Orbit for the album. Spears has been vocal on twitter the past few weeks about the project, not only tweeting that she wrote a “special song” with Sia, but that this album is “shaping up to be a real #PieceofMe.”

“Really excited 2 give u a taste of my new album…,” Spears tweeted last month. “Can’t wait 2 share what I’ve been working on. Going to be my most personal album ever :)”

In May, will.i.am, who worked with Spears on her 2011 album, Femme Fatale, opened up to Rolling Stone about how they are taking a much different approach this time around.

“We need to talk about what she’s excited about in life. I gotta talk about the things that hurt her. I gotta talk about the things that make her concerned — she’s a mother,” will.i.am said. “I gotta talk to her about all the things that her fans want to talk to her about. I gotta be the vehicle between her and her fans. We can’t do another song about going on the dance floor. Really? Didn’t we see a bunch of Britney doing that already? Don’t we want to see something that comes from her heart?”
