The mega-star is poised to make her debut as the 1930′s Berlin nightclub singer Sally Bowles in the Broadway revival of “Cabaret” on November 11, but EW has the first official shot of Stone in the role today (October 15). Check, check check it out below, and be sure to nab tickets to see Stone (and Alan Cumming) on the Great White Way here by February 1, 2015, when she’s set to take her final bow:

“Oh my gosh, look at that costume” is probably what you’re going to hear a lot of this year if you and your friends decide to dress up as Nicki Minaj and her troop of “Anaconda”. Since we’ve already covered possible costumes from the best of Queen Bey and her visual album, it only make sense that we highlight Beyonce’s “Flawless” partner in crime. Plus, the visual effect of a crew of jean-shorted, white-tanked, mean-mugging girl army is more than enough to convince us that this is THE costume of the year.

So Warner Bros. pretty much blew up with the world with its massive, 10-film line-up, but we have a few questions.

There were more than a couple blanks in the super ambitious plan, and while I’m still processing the enormity of the announcement, this is what I’m most curious about right now.

1. Why are there two “Justice League” movies?

The split is usually reserved for book adaptations that are just too big. Why set this as the plan from the word “go”? Well, besides money.

2. And why are they two years apart?

With “The Flash” and “Aquaman” falling in between the two movies, it doesn’t make it seem like there will be a cliffhanger after “Part One.” Is the story just that big?

3. When will there be a new Batman movie?

There’s been so much made around Ben Affleck as the new Dark Knight, so why didn’t WB slate a new standalone Batman movie? They have plans for more Batman, but if it’s before 2020 as the announcement implies, that means three DC movies in one year.

4. How soon will see see the Flash?

Since the role is already cast, will Ezra Miller make his debut in “Dawn of Justice”? “Also, our apologies to Grant Gustin. We still love you.

5. How different will “The Flash” be from the TV show?

Picture it: 1997. It was the year of girl-power dominance in pop culture: the Spice Girls, Fiona Apple and Quinn Morgendorffer. Sure, we know the question on your mind: What about Daria?

While many of us identified with Daria’s timeless (and amazingly acerbic) observations on adolescence, her little sis also provided a generation of girls the absolute truth when it came to boys, clothes, frenemies and, well, being popular.

Flash forward to 2014: We imagine Quinn in an episode of “Girl Code,” dishing on the ups and downs of sisterhood. Here’s what she’d have to say:

1. When it comes to finding “The One,” maintain high standards.

2. Seriously, never settle for second best.

3. Because the dating scene can be a complex (and sick, sad) world.

4. Always strive to be a helpful, honest person who sees the good in everyone.

5. Inner beauty > Outer beauty. Oh, and power yoga rocks.

6. Love yourself, no matter your size.

7. Be proud of your natural talents.

8. Fashion trends are meant to be deep.

9. Hardships will come your way, but giving up is never the answer.

10. A positive attitude is the key to success.

11. And, most importantly, treat others the way you want to be treated. It’s, like, part of karma, right?

After a breakup, many people change their hair. They dye it, cut it all off, get those bangs they’ve been thinking about for months, etc.—you know the drill. In the wake of his divorce from Amber Rose, Wiz Khalifa dyed his dreads purple. Now, his soon-to-be-ex-wife (whomp 4eva and eva and eva) is joining the new ‘do club.

While her heart-spotted head may not have been the intended focal point of the photo, it’s definitely a different look than the totally platinum hair she’s had since the spring. While she’s dabbled in bright green and purple before, a pattern is a totally new approach.

The subsequent photo Amber posted seems to indicate a return to her typical hair, though we checked the photo’s original source (her online boutique’s Instagram, natch), and it was posted pre-heart hair.

So, our hope that the hearts are here to stay (at least for a while!) lives on.

Great news, freeloaders: you no longer need to rely on the kindness of your ex-college roommate’s friend’s dad’s cable password to get your “Game of Thrones” on! HBO will next year begin to offer a standalone online streaming service of its content, the company announced at a Time Warner investor’s meeting Wednesday (October 15).

HBO chairman and CEO Richard Plepler announced that even those without a cable subscription would be able to access HBO content, a service currently only available to those with a cable company login through the HBO Go app. The number of U.S. homes with internet is much greater than those with cable, let alone premium add-on channels such as HBO.

“That is a large and growing opportunity that should no longer be left untapped,” Plepler said. “It is time to remove all barriers to those who want HBO. So, in 2015, we will launch a stand-alone, over-the-top, HBO service in the United States. We will work with our current partners. And, we will explore models with new partners. All in, there are 80 million homes that do not have HBO and we will use all means at our disposal to go after them.”

What’s still left to figure out is the distribution of this Netflix competitor, according to EW. It remains to be seen whether HBO will choose to offer the service as a separate component from their TV channel for existing cable subscribers, partner with another company or make the service totally standalone, like Netflix.
