Madison Square Garden has always been a symbol of success for musician. It’s a stage that demands a performance as legendary as the venue itself, and this Saturday, producer/DJ Eric Prydz will bring his EPIC 3.0 show to the New York City arena.
“Doing a show like Madison Square Garden obviously is the biggest venue I’ve taken on so far in terms of my EPIC show” Prydz told MTV News. “It’s very exciting and a bit scary as well. I’m not really nervous; I don’t really have time to [be] because there’s so much preparation in the music and the productions and everything going into the show.”
While the EPIC show is surely going to be exactly that, Prydz seems to be preparing everything except what he will be playing.
“As always, for me, I don’t really prepare. I go to a club or to an event like this and I improvise” revealed Prydz. “And you know there was this whole thing about these EDM DJs and these new big production shows where people just press play and it’s pre-programmed, and I think with EPIC, we can show people it doesn’t have to be like that. You can improvise and you can improvise with the visuals and with the whole production side of it as well as with the music.”
Not only will the show be improvised, but fans can expect a slew of special edits and remixes unique to show.
