You can now refer to Liam Payne as Mrs. Horan.

The One Direction member decided to have a little fun on Monday getting in on the hashtag #BeAFanDay and totally fan-girled over Niall, and it’s one of the best things we’ve seen on Twitter in days.

Liam kicked things off posting a photo of Niall joking that the line that he sings in “Midnight Memories,” “5 foot something with the skinny jeans” was written about his Irish bandmate. Liam tweeted along with the pic, “Oooo I’m such a Niall girl OHH MYFFF GOWDDD IM CRUIYING #BeAFanDay.”

But Liam was just getting started. He changed not only his Twitter name to Mrs. Horan, but swapped his profile pic to a shot of him and Niall and updated his profile to say, “4/5 follow and yeah i met niall he did a pose with me its not a big deal.”

But this is so a big deal, Liam!

I mean, we also “just died” after viewing Liam’s other photos of his “bae,” including the action shot of Niall playing tennis and biting his lip and giving a bit of a sensual pose while on stage.

Now, as a Directioner myself, I couldn’t imagine this posting spree could get any better—but it did. Liam made us “cahnt breauthee” after he cropped together shots of Niall’s baby blue eyes.

Everyone loves comic books, not just the nerds. The myth that only pimply-faced, four-eyed, brainiacs are the only ones who love superheroes was debunked a long-time ago. Still, there are some comic books aficionados out there that may surprise you — especially in the hip-hop community.

Here are 14 hip-hop artists who named themselves after our favorite guys (and gals) in tights.

1. Ghostface Killah a.k.a Tony Starks

Not only did Ghostface Killah name his 1996 solo debut Ironman, he often uses the alias Tony Starks and even had a brief cameo in the 2008 blockbuster film.

2. Method Man a.k.a Johnny Blaze

Ghost isn’t the Wu-Tang Clan’s only comic book junkie. Method Man once recorded a song called “The Riddler” and has been using Johnny Blaze as an a.k.a. since the mid-1990s — a nod to Marvel’s Ghost Rider.

3. Big Pun

The late-Big Pun was known for tongue-twisting rhymes and his admiration for the gun-toting Punisher.

4. Ja Rule a.k.a Loki

Technically, Loki existed in Nordic mythology way before he became a thorn in the Avengers’ side, but either way, this was a bad alias for Ja Rule. Thank the Gods it was short-lived.

5. Grandmaster Flash

When you’re Keke Palmer, impressive actress and doer-of-all-of-the-things, most days are good days to be you. But Monday was a particularly exciting one as it was announced that the actress and youngest talk show host, ever, would be tapped to play the titular “Cinderella” on Broadway. She makes her debut on September 9th (so soon)!

This will be the first time a black actress will play the role on the Great White Way and we, personally, couldn’t be more pleased with their selection. Though we imagine some of you out there may have some questions and/or misgivings because, well, this IS the Internet we’re talking about. But let’s just put those all to rest tout de suite.

Can the singer/dancer/actor/multi-hyphenate 20-year-old handle the role and gravity that comes with shouldering an entire theater production on one’s shoulders? Um, that comes with a resounding “duh!” Because Palmer is a veritable force. And not that you should really need any more convincing, but just in case, we’ve compiled a few of the reasons for you.

1. She Can Sing …And Dance!
Sure, she may be well known as an actress first but Palmer can seriously sing. And we’re not just talking about her time in “Joyful Noise,” though that works, too. Palmer put out her first album, the light and R&Breezy “So Uncool” in 2007, following it up with three mixtapes in 2011 and 2012.

Calling all active members of the Millertary! Get your boarding passes ready, because Jake Miller‘s gonna take you on the trip of a lifetime (and you don’t even have to wait in endless lines or deal with embarrassing airport pat-downs).

On Wednesday, August 6, you’ll get up close and personal with Jake as he goes “Live From MTV” at 4 p.m. ET. For 30 minutes on MTV.com and MTV Hits, Jake will be taking questions from fans in the studio audience and everyone watching at home and on your phones, so send them to us @MTVBuzzworthy using the hashtag #AskJakeMiller.

The MTV Artist to Watch will also be performing a stripped-down version of his brand-new single, “First Flight Home,” off his upcoming album.

But, that’s not all. During the show, Jake will be giving you your very first sneak peek at his “First Flight Home,” which premieres on MTV on Thursday, August 7. Plus, we’re also giving you a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video, since we were on set in California with Jake himself.

Are you ready to remember just how much high school sucked again? Good, because now you have a chance to help make a sequel to this year’s “Vampire Academy” a reality.

The producers behind the first film are this week launching an IndieGoGo campaign to raise money for “Frostbite: A Vampire Academy Film.” If fans contribute $1.5 million, the financial backers will be convinced that there’s enough fan demand for the movie and fund the rest of the production cost.

The campaign launches this Wednesday, August 6.

Producer Mike Preger said that the decision to move forward with the crowdfunding campaign was totally motivated by the fans.

“The fans mean everything to us,” he said in an email to MTV News. “We decided to move forward with ‘Frostbite’ because of the fans, and we want to give them the purest book to film adaptation possible. We have a script by Piers Ashworth [screenwriter of "St. Trinian's"] that does just that. We want to give them exactly what they expect.”

Producer Deepak Nayar agreed, and said that fans so wanted a sequel that they had actually suggested turning to crowdfunding.

“Our financiers were willing to move forward ONLY if we could show them the fans would support us,” Nayar said. “It’s not an exaggeration to say that we would not be here without them.”

If the goal is met, pre-production will begin late this year, the film will shoot in early 2015, and the finished product will hit theaters in late 2015. “Frostbite” will follow Rose ...

Lady Gaga helped make collaborator Tony Bennett‘s 88th birthday a high-flying one Sunday, painting the skies with a banner reading, “Happy Birthday Tony [heart] Gaga.”

“For the best … Singing together has changed my life,” Gaga tweeted yesterday, along with a photo of the banner. “Let’s trend it worldwide so I can tell him! #HappyBirthdayTonyBennett I love you baby you’re the best!,” she said as well, sharing a photo of her kitted out like Jo Calderone posing with the legendary singer.

Bennett also shared a snap of the plane, writing, “Dear Lady, you said there will always be flowers but this is ridiculous! Best birthday ever.”

Gaga recently announced that she and Bennett are teaming up for a jazz album titled Cheek to Cheek, due out September 23.

Judging by Gaga’s Twitter account — which is plastered with snaps of her and Bennett together — and yesterday’s birthday wishes, it’s safe to say that Mother Monster is more than a little excited about her pair-up with silvered-haired crooner.

If you’re of legal drinking age, summer is the best time to day-drink. It’s hot, you can take your shirt off outside and it’s socially acceptable (for the most part). The problem with summer day-drinking is not enough people realize it’s a marathon and not a sprint. It’s easy to pop a couple and be s–t-faced before 2pm…and you didn’t even remember to eat lunch!

This video below is a perfect example of why you need to really pace yourself this season. You don’t want to end up like this drunk neighbor getting sprayed off a lawn like a stray dog.

“Game of Thrones” fans erupted in outrage this weekend when a new trailer surfaced for the BBC Films World War I drama “Testament of Youth,” a movie that stars Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, and Kit Harington’s suddenly horribly super-short haircut. Gaaaah!

Jon Snow might know nothing, but even so, we thought he knew better than to chop off the beautiful long locks that made him the sexiest Crow in the North. Did he break out the scissors and break our hearts to play a clean-cut soldier in the “Game of Thrones” off-season? Would his gorgeous flowing hair be replaced by a Wig of Lies?!

Fortunately, the good people at Vanity Fair dug deep into this horror story and came back to report that Kit’s pretty curls remain intact. (He is, in fact, contractually obligated not to cut it so long as he has a role on the HBO drama.) Phew! And having put those fears to rest, now we can unreservedly enjoy the “Testament of Youth” trailer and the rare sight of Kit wearing something other than that grimy fur overcoat he’s always trundling around in atop the Wall.
