Here’s Miley Cyrus Riding an Inflatable Penis On Stage Because Of Course

by 05/10/14

Miley Cyrus rode a giant inflatable penis on stage in London on Friday. Because of course she did. She also simulated fellatio on that inflati-dick, because of course she did. And in further unsurprising Miley Cyrus news, she also said a bunch of stuff about sex and roofies and sexuality whilst atop the puffed-up member because — you guessed it! — of course she did. She’s just Miley bein’ Miley, y’all. And a Miley do what a Miley wants to do.

While performing onstage at Heaven nightclub in London for her friend Cheyne Thomas’ birthday, the singer/actress/tongue enthusiast worked the crowd out for several songs and even gave us a bit of insight into the mind of Miley Cyrus. “Everyone’s a little bit gay. Some of us just a little bit more than others.” She also insinuated that if your intended partner doesn’t want to get down — gay or otherwise — to “sprinkle something in their drink. That’s what I always do” which is, unsurprisingly, 100% what you should most definitely not do because it is super-duper illegal and dangerous and not at all cool because roofies are fun for approximately no one.

But Miley makes her own rules. Clearly.

Intrepid concertgoer Thomas Welch managed to document Miley’s moves, in case you wanted to see her inflatable penis get the shaft:

It’s just another day in Mileyville.

Kim and Kanye’s Wedding Invitation Isn’t At All What We Expected

by 05/10/14

When the names Kim Kardashian and Kanye West come to mind, subtlety is not the first thing that comes to mind. But the duo known as Kimye have managed to muster up just that for their impending nuptials and the requisite invitation, thanks to a sneaky guest and US Weekly.

I mean, what is this? How is it that the Kim and Kanye Wedding Of The Millennium Of All Time is going off with nothing more than a neutral background with a stately texture and embossed gold lettering? Is that really what one would expect from the man who’s compared himself to a king, a god, Deepak Chopra, Jerome from “Martin,” 2 Pac, Picasso, Steve Jobs, Michael Jordan, Andy Warhol, and Walt Disney? Would Andy Warhol really settle for subtle minimalist? Ha! We think not.

Oh that Kanye — always trying to keep us on our toes.

‘Community’ Gets Cancelled and We’re Pretty Bummed But There’s Still Hope

by 05/10/14

You had a good run, Greendale. After five seasons of meta-obsession and homages to genres popular and obscure, the Dan Harmon creation that was Community is no more on NBC. After a fifth season that was truly a return to form (following that dreadful — yeah, we said it — season four without its visionary helmer), there was hope that the show might actually make it to that all-important #sixseasonsandamovie — but alas, time is cruel and ratings-fronted rulings on the fate of television are often crueler.

Sure, there’s little surprise in the fact that the show — always on the brink of cancellation — finally got the axe, but that doesn’t make the truth hurt any less. In fact, there was a veritable s–tstorm on Twitter following the announcement, with pop culture obsessives commiserating over their now-fallen comrade.

“Twitter isn’t big enough to hold my condolences and more importantly my gratitude to the best fans, cast and crew in TV history,” the series’ creator and showrunner, Dan Harmon stated on Twitter. “Excelsior.” He wasn’t the only one who took to the social networking site to discuss the news.

Joel McHale, the series’ star, was the first to comment on the news, sending shivers down our spine because OH NO IT’S REAL:

The rest of the cast went the gratitude route:

But don’t lose faith yet! There is still the glimmering vestige of hope that is the fact that, according to Entertainment Weekly, the series’ production home, Sony TV, will try to ...

Scarlett Johansson Can Make Anything Erotic… Even Cooking

by 05/10/14

With Reporting By Josh Horowitz

The characters in Jon Favreau’s “Chef,” which stars Favreau, Scarlett Johansson, John Leguizamo, and many others, love food… and, according to Leguizamo, we mean they love food.

“I love that the sex scene is him cooking,” Leguizamo told MTV News.

Of course, the beautiful ladies star and director Favreau cast as his love interests in the movie didn’t hurt, especially on set.

“How about the girlfriends he has?” Leguizamo said. “How bout the women he surrounds himself with? That’s what I liked about the movie the most.

“He has Scarlett Johansson as his girlfriend, Sofia Vergara as his ex-wife… if he had Kerry Washington he would’ve had the whole spectrum.”

Clearly, as Leguizamo said, there’s “power in cooking” to be able to attract so many gorgeous women. Still, an erotic scene involving food? Really?

“Scarlett can make anything erotic,” Leguizamo explained. “Look at her, just the voice you’re already like, oh God.”

Being in the movie was fun for more than just the food and beauties, though. Favreau’s sets are famous for their emphasis on improv, and when Favreau warned Leguizamo about the open nature of the script, the actor told his director, ” ‘You’re gonna have trouble shutting me up.’ And he did. But he’d let me try. I said some racy, racy, crazy s***, so it was fun.”

Cooking, sex, and comedy. Sounds like the trifecta to us.

Check out “Chef,” which hits theaters today (May 9).

James Franco is Not Happy About ‘Spring Breakers 2′

by 05/10/14

You guys, James Franco is upset. And, naturally, when he gets upset, things get weird. Eating-rice-cakes-in-dreads-in-bed levels of weird. While the unnamed woman heard speaking in the Instagram video insists these shenanigans have to do with an excess ingestion of “too much dope in the club,” we’re fairly certain it also has to do with the fact that they’re making a Spring Breakers sequel. Turns out the Alien America deserved but didn’t know they needed is none too pleased with the idea of Spring Breakers 2, and his poor, delicate tummy can’t seem to take it.

“ALIEN IN REHAB! And BTW F*** that SBers 2 BS, they’re doing it without HARMONY’s CONSENT. Sounds LAME AS A MUTHA!” the caption attached to the video states. Which doesn’t really speak so much to aggravated tummies as it does annoyance at production house Wild Bunch and, well…just watch it and make up your own mind about it. But there’s no denying it’s strange in that way we’ve come to expect from Franco at this point. Call us when he does something really bizarre, like leave his Instagram account at home.

This Is What Every Britney Spears Album Should Have Been Titled

by 05/10/14 1baby

… Baby One More Time set the scene for a late-’90s teen-pop revival, with Britney Spears at the forefront. Her record spoke to a myriad of teenage romance issues, ranging from can’t-sleep crushes to the harsh realities of a first breakup. With a powerhouse fame-maker like Max Martin at her side, Brit was clearly destined for Madonna-esque super-stardom. She was bound to be famous, y’all!

2oops

Spears’ sophomore album, Oops! … I Did It Again, took an edgier approach than her bubblegum-pop debut. Spears began hinting at the struggles of fame and early media criticism (you’ve gotta remember that ”Sometimes” video scandal where everyone accused her of getting a boob job at 17 years old?). The pop star also matured lyrically, going from the little girl in love to an independent woman who wasn’t afraid to play games.

3britney

Britney pushed Spears’ subtly sexual image into overdrive. At this point, she was pretty much determined to let everyone know, ”I’m a big girl now.” Fewer clothes, more sass. The urban-influenced album included her get-off-my-back hit ”Overprotected,” an edgy cover oan Jett’s “I Love Rock N’ Roll” and her sexy, sweaty dance smash “Slave 4 U.” We got it, Brit. You’re all grown up.

4zone

In The Zone was fueled by a public breakup with her love of three years, Justin Timberlake. Britney was a free woman and threw her energy and focus into a hugely successful album, featuring a hit with her idol, Madonna’ a “self exploration” track; a good-girl response to Timberlake’s “Cry Me A River”; and the highly ...

You And Joe Biden Can Listen To ‘Drops Of Jupiter’ Together This National Train Day

by 05/10/14

May 10 doesn’t just mark a spring, non-Cinco de Mayo Saturday for you to enjoy margaritas. No, this year, May 10 marks National Train Day.

Established all the way back in 2008 by Amtrak, the holiday (non-federal) is meant to raise appreciation and awareness of rail travel among Americans. Why is it in May, you may ask? Well, Virginia, that would be because on May 10, 1869, the Golden Spike was hammered in Promontory, Utah, marking the official completion of the first transcontinental railroad system. As such, the Saturday closest to May 10 gets the honor of being National Train Day for the year.

But while Vice President Joe Biden may be psyched about traveling by train, we’d rather observe the holiday by contemplating the greatest hits of the soft rock band Train. More specifically, let’s all sit back, relax and listen to what is undoubtedly the very greatest Train song of all time, “Drops of Jupiter.”

Those of you who are like, “but ‘Meet Virginia’! And what about ‘Soul Sister’?” That’s enough from you. Any song that name-drops soy lattes, deep-fried chicken and tae bo is clearly the king.

But, like, can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken? Can you?

In addition to being a fantastic choice for any group sing-along, as well as a masterpiece with a range of lyrics that would be perfect for the margins of any middle school love notes you may need to write, “Drops of Jupiter” has transcended its four minutes-ish of 1998 goodness and breached ...

See Nicki Minaj As A Baby In These Old Pictures From Her Mom’s Album

Nicki Minaj is a master of transformation — from the colorful wigs and wild makeup to the more simplified and sexy look she sported at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards — but what was the YMCMB rapper like as a child?

Nicki’s mom recently chatted with MTV News about her own musical career, but she also brought along some childhood photos of the Queen Barb. The photos included a shot of Carol Maraj holding baby Nicki in Trinidad, and another of her as a giddy teenager who couldn’t stop cracking jokes at her mother’s baby shower.

The physical similarities between the rapper and her mom are undeniable, and apparently Nicki has always had a soft spot for Mother’s Day.

“One thing about Nicki is that she’d always insist that she had to give you a gift,” her mom explained. “So she’d go and maybe get her father to buy something, or even if she drew a card — she always presented something.

“My most memorable [Mother's Day] is when a truck pulled up and there were a whole lot of balloons saying ‘Happy Mother’s Day,’ with a huge bouquet of flowers,” she recalled. “I kept it on the table for months until it withered away and the balloons started shrinking.

“But what I love the most on Mother’s Day is to be seated in church with my children. That’s the best gift they can give to me.”

This Retro Clip Of Weezer Explaining ‘The Sweater Song’ Is Really Weezer-y

by 05/10/14

I have a vivid memory of skipping out to FYE at the Crystal Mall in Waterford, Connecticut, to pick up Weezer‘s self-titled debut record, which dropped 20 years ago today. A lot of singing-in-the-car followed said purchase, as well as vigorous mirror-dancing.

This memory invoked two thoughts within my weekend-addled brain: 1). I am an old person who is old. 2). I still don’t really understand what “Undone (The Sweater Song)” means.

The below clip — which we dug from the MTV vaults — does little to illuminate.

Check out the Weezer dudes unraveling our collective mind sweaters below.
