Lil Wayne And Drake’s Most Unforgettable Lines From ‘Believe Me’

by 05/05/14

If you were feeling any sort of indifference toward Lil Wayne’s upcoming album Tha Carter V, you might’ve had a change of heart after hearing his new single “Believe Me” this weekend. Weezy delivers some of his finest rhymes in a while, and he and Drake essentially knock this one out of the park. There were a few lines that we just couldn’t shake from the brain.

Drake

“I’m the only one that get the job done/ I don’t know a n—- that can cover for me.”
It can’t be easy to be the one consistently crushing verses, hooks, selling Platinum records, hosting awards shows and holding the torch for your hometown NBA team. Or, maybe it is.

“On the road I do One Direction numbers.”
All the power of a boy band, rolled into one man.

“Collect call from the boss like where we at though/ I was like, ‘Hah, it’s our time, n—’/ He left Rikers in a Phantom, that’s my n—.”
Drake kept the hits coming for Young Money while Weezy was locked up. Of course he left prison with his head high.

“Nirvana, Coldplay n—- got bands/ Ink from the money got it all over my hands.”
Boy bands, rock bands…it’s just the bands that count, at the end of the day.

Lil Wayne

“N—- I’ll fire this Nina like it’s her first day on the job and the bitch overslept.”
Wayne is as serious about deading haters, as your boss is about deading that paycheck when you get ...

The boys of 5 Seconds Of Summer fight for the most noble thing any man could – the right girl’s heart – in their latest lyric video for “Don’t Stop.”

Cartoon versions of Michael, Luke, Calum and Ashton decked out in superhero costumes have definitely captured a lot of attention based on how many views the video has been getting – over 175,000 since it was released this morning!

What is it about these boys from Australia can we not get enough of? We have some ideas:

1. They’re down to earth; they eat pizza!

5sos13

2. They have brains. Intelligent and talented. Check!

5sos1

3. You want to run away with me? Oooh la la! Oui, oui!

5sos14

4. They get excited about getting new clothes. Cool, let’s go to the mall!

5sos15

5. They’ll do anything to win a girl’s heart.

5sos3

6. Give me some dap! Even in the face of danger, they find time to fist bump.

5sos4

7. They appreciate the value of good eye contact.

5sos5

8. Nothing scares them and they can take down more than one bad guy at a time.

5sos6

9. Individually, each of the guys is a force to be reckoned with, but together, duh, they’re UNSTOPPABLE.

5sos7

10. They demonstrate the best ways to protect your face: Put both hands up in front of it or wear a mask, so if you do get hit no one will know.

Is Adele About To Drop A New Album?

by 05/05/14

If might feel like it’s been forever since Adele released her world-crushing, Grammy-winning 21 album. But, actually, she’s right on schedule. And although we’ve heard next to nothing about her third full-length release, it sounds like the drought is almost over.

“Bye bye 25,” she tweeted on Monday (May 5) along with thumbs-up shot from her bed. “See you again later in the year x.”

As it turns out, today is the 26-year-old singer’s birthday, which makes us think that the sequel to 21 might just be called 25? And if that’s the case, well, Adele is perfectly on schedule. Her debut, 19, came out in 2008 and 21 followed in 2011.

The “Rolling in the Deep” star has reportedly been writing with former Genesis singer/drummer Phil Collins, OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder and Grammy-winning songwriter Diane Warren on the new disc.

The Beygency Proves That Beyonce Really Does Run The World

by 05/05/14

Let the sketch on this week’s “Saturday Night Live” serve as a warning: Beyoncé is everywhere.

Andrew Garfield, who made his hosting debut on the May 3 episode, plays a character who makes the mistake of saying that “Drunk In Love” is anything less than transcendently awesome. This mistake, we shortly learn, could prove to be lethal. There’s one girl in particular, it turns out who run the world, and that girl is Beyoncé.

Check out the clip above to find out exactly what happens when you dare betray the Queen Bey, complete with a cameo from Jack Bauer. Spoiler alert: Even he can’t get away with uttering a word against her. As they say, you can’t have treason without a reason. Now put your hands up (oh oh oh) and come with us. Quietly.

‘Amazing Spider-Man 2′: What The Ending Means For ‘Amazing Spider-Man 3′

by 05/05/14

Amazing Spider-Man 2” is a hit, raking in $92 million this weekend domestically alone. Which means SONY — barring everyone deciding to never watch movies again — will definitely go through with their plan for an “Amazing Spider-Man 3″ in 2016.

With that in mind, what can we expect from the threequel? Here are 7 things we want to see, based on where “Amazing Spider-Man 2″ leaves off:

SPOILERS from this point on!

Mary Jane
Last Dance With Mary Jane
With Gwen Stacy dead, it’s time for Peter Parker to learn how to heal and move on with a new love. Shailene Woodley was originally cast as Mary Jane Watson, Peter’s next door neighbor and future love, in “ASM2.” Though the part will be recast, producers have all but guaranteed that Mary Jane will factor in to the final chapter in Andrew Garfield’s trilogy.

Mysterio
A Sinister Future
SONY hasn’t been shy about where the series is going, teasing the super-villain team-up the Sinister Six during the closing credits. And not to mention Harry Osborn asking Mr. Fierce to put a “small team of guys together,” starting with The Rhino. The Sinister Six is coming, and we’re all but guaranteed to see some iteration of the villain team in 2016.

venom
Venom
Yes, The Sinister Six are getting their own spin-off flick, but so is Venom. Adding the symbiote powered baddie to “Amazing Spider-Man 3″ might smack too much of repeating the plot of “Spider-Man 3,” but they have ...

Tyga And Lil Durk’s Rap Beef Really Escalated Quickly

by 05/05/14

Tyga isn’t really known for his rap beefs, but the YMCMB spitter isn’t going to let Lil Durk‘s latest dis go unanswered either.

On Saturday, Meek Mill, Shy Glizzy and Durk released a new track, using Nicki Minaj and Lil Herb’s dark and bassy “Chiraq” beat. Over the murderous instrumental, Durk aimed a few bars at the Young Money rapper spitting: “Heard Tyga sneak dissin’ on me, tell them thot bitches I’m not right/ Tyga only got one name, but that n—a ain’t got one stripe.”

The very next day, T-Raww hopped on Instagram and dropped a 15-second snippet of his response. “Who the f–k is Lil Durk?/ I dust you like ashin’ purp,” he rhymes over the same “Chiraq” beat.

It didn’t take long for Durk to respond, sending shots on Twitter shortly after Tyga’s audio surfaced. “Everytime a n—a rap beef he get clapped up in a couple weeks ig comments and a couple tweets Location on we can go and meet #chiraq,” he messaged on the social networking site.

According to Durk, the whole beef started after Tyga previewed a song that Durk recorded with Chris Brown and French Montana titled “Get That Money.”

On the track, Durk spit a line about Tyga’s lady Blac Chyna, a line that Tyga took some offense to and asked Durk to change. The Chicago rapper says he agreed to make the change only if Tyga did a collaboration with him, a condition Tyga accepted. Durk, however, began to get annoyed after the ...
