Benzino ‘Embarrassed’ By Getting Shot At His Mother’s Funeral

Getting shot on the way to your mother's funeral would dampen anyone's spirits, but Benzino looks to be doing well following the drama that he endured over the weekend.

"I'm good, I got shot in my arm. I got shot twice — one of the bullets grazed my back and one here," Benzino told Boston-based media outlet NEHip-Hop from his hospital bed, pointing to his right arm. "I got to do some physical therapy for a while on my hand, but I'm alright."

The rapper and star was shot by his nephew on Saturday while he was driving in a funeral procession for his mother, who passed away last week. Benzino was at one point described as being in but appeared to be making a full recovery in his first video interview since the shooting.

According to reports, Benzino was driving southbound on Route 3 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, when his nephew, 36-year-old Gai Scott, pulled up alongside his SUV and fired several shots. The gunman was arrested and charged with armed assault with intent to murder.

"I'm more embarrassed than anything else to be honest with you," Zino said. "Because me being a public figure and having people see that me and my family are going through that. I didn't appreciate that."

Benzino wouldn't elaborate on the shooting, citing the pending investigation, but found comfort with the thought of his mother resting in peace.

"At the end of the day, my mother is up there with her family now, and she's happy right now. I know she's resting," ...

How The ‘Walking Dead’ Finale Played Out In The Comics

Rick Grimes has seen better days. The forced the man to fight for his son's life, in one of the most brutal displays of violence the show has ever seen. By the end of the hour, Rick and his friends were captured by flesh-hungry cannibals — a cruel twist on the man-eating world of the zombie apocalypse.

For fans of the "Walking Dead" comic books, the events of the finale weren't entirely unexpected. The Terminus twist, as well as the demise of Joe and the Claimers, come straight out of the comics, albeit under different circumstances — not unlike how Lizzie and Mika's deaths took place on the show versus what happened in the comics.

Let's start with Joe's Claimers catching up with Rick. In the comics, Rick is on the road with Carl and Abraham, not Michonne, when a group of thugs comes along.

Just like Joe's group, these killers have "claimed" this road, and they want something from Rick in return — namely, his young son, Carl.

Rick doesn't let Carl go without a fight. As he did in the finale, Rick head-butts the leader of the group...

And then he takes a bite out of crime, McGruff style.

His mouth full of flesh and his heart full of hate, Rick comes after Carl's would-be rapist, and takes vengeance into his own hands.

The following morning, Rick reflects on the night's events, sitting down for a calm chat with his new pal, Abraham. On the show, Daryl filled in for Abraham here.

‘Walking Dead’ Finale: Will Anyone Escape Terminus Alive?

Warning: major spoilers from the are ahead.

Well. That was unpleasant.

After weeks of promising survival for all who arrive, Terminus turned out to be a complete and utter sham. In fact, the supposed sanctuary couldn't be further from its advertised purpose if it tried. Now, Rick Grimes and his companions are in captivity, waiting to become the next plate of food for Gareth, Mary, Albert and the rest of Terminus' termites.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Rick's imprisonment came mere moments after he was forced to rip a man's throat out and mutilate another guy who was about to "claim" Carl in the worst way imaginable. Now, all the Claimers are dead, and Rick Grimes Rage Mode has officially reactivated.

Needless to say, the wait until October's return of will be a long one. In the meantime, here are our lingering questions from the season four finale:

1. Does Rick have a new career in the making? The way he bit out Joe the Claimer's throat, it sure looks like Sheriff Grimes could retire the badge and cowboy hat in favor of becoming the post-apocalyptic world's greatest zombie impersonator. We've seen him wander around covered in guts and gore in the past, but the throat-bite took things to a whole new level.

While we're on the subject, is Rick a closet "24" fan? That throat-bite was classic season six Jack Bauer!

2. Didn't Daryl have a better play at his disposal? Rather than walking up to the captured Rick, Carl and Michonne and outing himself as their ally, ...

Darren Aronofsky ‘Absolutely’ Wanted To Direct ‘Man Of Steel’

Director Darren Aronofsky's rained all over theaters this weekend, earning rave reviews and the top spot at the box-office during its first three days of release. The critically acclaimed filmmaker's take on the biblical tale was long in the making, with Aronofsky once shopping "Noah" around as a graphic novel instead of as a big-budget blockbuster.

The "Noah" graphic novel isn't Aronofsky's first brush with the comic book world, either. Not long ago, before James Mangold came along, Aronofsky was set to claw into "The Wolverine," which would have reunited him with his "The Fountain" star Hugh Jackman. For various reasons, Aronofsky and "Wolverine" never got off the ground.

"I loved the script and I thought the film came out great. I just had ... it was a hard time in my life," Aronofsky told MTV's Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast. "It was complicated. I couldn't leave New York for that long an amount of time. And, to be honest, the possibility of 'Noah' had started to emerge, and here was something I'd been thinking about for years. I was really excited by that."

Another superhero project Aronofsky was once linked to: "Man of Steel," last summer's Superman reboot starring Henry Cavill. Director Zack Snyder ultimately landed that job, but Aronofsky said he would have "absolutely" taken the job under the right circumstances.

"Superman's one of the holy grails. It's Superman. It's the best superhero," he said. "Batman is great, of course, but it's Superman. He's the same level. That possibility was great."

Aronofsky said he ...

‘Harry Potter’ Spinoff ‘Fantastic Beasts’ Will Be A Trilogy

Fear not, "Potter" heads: There will be new additions to the cinematic wizarding world, sooner than you can say "accio spinoff."

Well, perhaps not quite that soon. But there are indeed "Harry Potter" spinoff films in the works, thanks to J.K. Rowling's announced That's right: films, plural. What was once previously believed to be a one-off project has now been identified as a series of "three megamovies," as revealed in a New York Times profile on new Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara.

"When I say he made 'Fantastic Beasts' happen, it isn't P.R.-speak but the literal truth," says Rowling. "We had one dinner, a follow-up telephone call, and then I got out the rough draft that I'd thought was going to be an interesting bit of memorabilia for my kids and started rewriting!"

Based on the charity novel of the same name Rowling wrote many years ago, "Fantastic Beasts" chronicles the adventures of Newt Scamander, a magizoologist who studied the wizarding world's fantastic flora and fauna nearly a century before the days of Harry, Hermione and Ron. Rowling herself penned the screenplay, with no directors, actors or even a release date announced at this time.

"Although it will be set in the worldwide community of witches and wizards where I was so happy for 17 years, 'Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them' is neither a prequel nor a sequel to the 'Harry Potter' series, but an extension of the wizarding world," Rowling revealed months ago, when news of "Fantastic Beasts" first broke. "The laws and customs of the hidden ...

‘The Walking Dead’: All The Shocking Moments On The Season Finale

We're still shaking after the surprisingly rousing end of "The Walking Dead" fourth season finale, as ***SPOILER*** we said goodbye to... Nobody! Nobody died!

But other than that, here's everything that had us scraping our jaws off the floor at the end of "A":

Joe vs. The Rick-cano
Let's cut to the chase, so to speak, shall we? Joe and the Claimers catch up with Rick, Michonne and Carl, who they blame for killing one of their former Claimers. Daryl proceeds to talk Joe down, leading to a look of total sadness and betrayal from Joe. That leads to the following classic line:

"First we're going to beat Daryl to death. Then we'll have the girl. Then the boy. Then we'll shoot you. Then we'll be square."

Rick breaks. Like, seriously breaks. He bites Joe's neck, ripping it and spitting it out. He guts a guy who was going to rape Carl. And other than a short case of the shakes the next morning, and worry about Carl, Rick is fine. More than fine, he's becoming the leader he's needed to be since the very first episode.

Hey, you gotta bite a few necks to make a neck omlette. Or something.

Hershel Returns
Throughout the episode, we saw flashbacks to a simpler life at the prison, and most notably the return of Scot Wilson as Hershel Greene. The idea was to contrast the relative hopefulness in setting up a farm with the grim reality of being on the road.

But the main takeaway? Hershel suggested getting pigs, which led to the infection, which led to his ...

‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’: New Teaser Reveals Giant Ape Army

The survivors on "The Walking Dead" may have a literal horde of problems to face on a daily basis, but they haven't gone up against anything like the Apes. And in a nice bit of cross-pocalyptic promotion, a new look at the eagerly anticipated pre-sequel "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" premiered during the season finale of "Walking Dead."

The teaser features more scenes than the brief trailer released in December, with a new voiceover. But the money shot comes at the very beginning, as a large metal door opens to reveal an army of apes on horseback.

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" takes places years after the near-destruction of the human race, and ascension of intelligent apes — led by the soulful Caesar, played by Andy Serkis Ô in 2011's "Rise of the Planet of the Apes."

The sequel continues the long march to joining up with the continuity of the original "Planet of the Apes" movie, though how far (or close) it comes we won't be sure until it hits theaters in July.

"Dawn" is directed by Matt Reeves, and also stars Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke and Keri Russell as the humans who will alternately think the apes are just dumb animals, not realizing their hubris and causing their own tragic downfall; and the humans who plead with the people who hate the apes, siding with the animals and ultimately leading to their own tragic downfall.

Though we're just guessing those parts.

"Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is in theaters on July 11.

‘The Walking Dead’: Predictions For Tonight’s Season Finale

It's the end of the line for season four of But is it also the end of the line for one of our beloved heroes?

Tonight's season finale, titled "A," is destined to bring about a gruesome death for at least one of the show's many main characters. All of that talk about "who will arrive" and "who will survive" isn't for show; someone is about to pay the price. But who? And what's the true nature of Terminus?

With only hours left before the show begins, here are our final predictions for the "Walking Dead" finale.

Not All Who Arrive Will Survive
There are some compelling theories that Terminus is not all it's cracked up to be. Is the supposed safe haven secretly a cannibal compound? Are the people who run Terminus kidnapping survivors, like Beth? It can't just be another sanctuary like the prison, can it?

However it shakes out, the very promise of "those who arrive, survive," seems set up for failure. Right now, many main characters have already arrived at Terminus: Glenn, Maggie, Tara, Sasha, Bob, Abraham, Eugene and Rosita. Count on at least one of these characters to bite the dust tonight.

Terminus Will Not Survive
For that matter, it's entirely possible that Terminus as it currently exists will not make it through the finale. Woodbury fell in season three, the prison fell halfway into season four — if the trend holds, then Terminus will fall tonight.

Chalk it up to internal conflict or an external assault from Joe's Claimers or another party. However it shakes ...
