Could A Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber Duet Be In The Works? [Poll]

Selena Gomez has been a little quiet on the music front lately, but maybe not for long if Selenators — and Beliebers — get their way.

Maybe it's the fact that the on-again, off-again couple seem to have rekindled their romance, but many fans are eager to see the pair get together not only for Starbucks dates, but in the studio too.

Now, a snippet that hit the Internet on Thursday (March 20) has those very devoted fans buzzing. Tumblr user Jelenacruisin posted a track titled "Duet #1" with the featured artists listed as Gomez and ... Justin Bieber.

While we're very skeptical about the origins of the track — the five-second snippet features no vocals from Justin and isn't officially promoted by either artist — that didn't stop Selenators and Beliebers from reblogging the song and sparking speculation that a collabo between Selena and Justin is in the works.

The couple also known as Jelena more or less confirmed that sparks were still flying when Justin posted a video of the two of them in a super steamy dance rehearsal. Could they have been practicing moves for a rumored duet and eventual music video?

We don't know, but we won't rule it out. Here's what we do know: The "Come and Get It" singer cut short her Stars Dance Tour to focus on her health this past winter. And Justin, who's been battling a string of legal troubles, has been spending a whole lot of time in the studio. He's dropped teasers in the last few weeks, including ...

Lily Allen Says The Sh–Talking Stops On Sheezus

Lily Allen is the first to admit that the idea behind her new album Sheezus — that there is an ongoing battle amongst her contemporaries to rule the pop universe — is a silly one. Of course, she's also quick point out that it's true.

"There's a song on the album ... called 'Sheezus,' and the first verse is about me re-entering the music scene, and how kind of scary that is," she told MTV News. "And the choruses talk about people who are this in the scene, and [the idea] that women tend to be played against one another. The way I read it, there's a queen and everyone else is in her slipstream. So I guess what it's trying to say is that we can all be 'Sheezus.'"

To counter that, critics will no doubt mention that Allen spends no small portion of the song calling out those very contemporaries (Rihanna, Katy Perry, Beyoncé, Lorde and Lady Gaga are all mentioned by name) ... though in doing so, they're only further illustrating her point: that the media seemingly can't get enough of pitting female pop stars against one another, often for purely ridiculous — and profitable — means.

So she's just going to come right out and say it: She's not competing with anybody, and, frankly, doesn't want to. In fact, she's not sure she even could.

"It's kind of ridiculous because I name-check Beyoncé, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Lorde, and I don't think that I could even possibly take one tiny diamond off of ...

Gunplay Confirms Living Legend Is ‘Definitely’ Happening

Perfection can't be rushed. But Gunplay fans have had to wait a lot longer than usual for the Carol City rapper to drop his debut LP, Living Legend.

According to the MC, though, his supporters' patience through all of the drug addiction-related troubles and recurring legal issues is finally about to pay off.

"We talking, like, summertime, maybe, but it's definitely gonna happen," Gunplay told MTV News backstage at Def Jam's 30th Anniversary showcase earlier this month. "It's up to the boss, it's up to [Def Jam EVP Shawn "Pecas" Costner], it's up to the building. The fans ready. I'm ready. I'm geared up. I'm balanced. I'm ready to go. Living Legend, it's on the way."

With his much-anticipated project somewhat set in stone, Don Logan was more readily willing to reveal who he's been working with in the studio (let's hope the rumored collabo with Kanye West comes to fruition) to make his solo set worth the extended wait.

"I got [Lil] Wayne on there, I got Young Dro on there," he revealed. "Production from a lot of young, hungry, up-and-coming producers. Got one from 808 Mafia."

Having graduated from peddling a then-unsigned Rick Ross' mixtapes around Miami to putting the final touches on his first major-label release, is it fair to assume that the Triple Cs representer will also try to follow Rozay's sonic blueprint with the help of a certain collective of Grammy-winning producers from Tampa, Florida?

"I need to get a J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League," Gunplay said, excitedly, about the beat maestros responsible for hits such as the Jay ...

9 Reasons To See ‘Captain America: The Winter Soldier’

"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" brings the spotlight of the Marvel Cinematic Universe back to Steve Rogers and finally pays full attention to story of a World War II hero waking up in the modern world. Things get a little complicated, however, when a friend reappearing from the past isn't as happy an occasion as Cap might imagine.

Chris Evans' third full-time turn as the star-spangled man is Marvel's darkest, most complex movie to date and largely succeeds by fitting the superhero movie into the trappings of a political thriller.

There are a lot of reasons to check out "Captain America: The Winter Soldier," but these are the nine I think are the most important.

Cap Is Marvel Studios' Best Character
Yes, Iron Man is the character that makes the big bucks, but that's largely due to how good Robert Downey Jr. is at playing Tony Stark and how cool the suit looks on screen. Captain American is Marvel's best character right now because he's the best example of why their movies work so well. Character comes first.

Sure, Cap is super strong, but he's still that skinny kid from Brooklyn trying to prove himself. "The Winter Soldier" pushes forward that idea and makes it even more complicated by fully exploring the fact that Cap has been ripped out of time and thrown into the future.

I Might Have Almost Teared Up During One Scene
Yeah, so? So what?!

Marvel Didn't Ruin The Winter Soldier
One of the ways that Marvel Studios has played the adaptation game smartly is that they stay truest ...
