Why is Bill O’Reilly Mad At Obama And Beyoncé?

Bill O'Reilly has had enough, and it's only Wednesday.

The Fox News pundit has spent the first two nights of the week working himself into a lather — as he is wont to do — over a pair of perceived evils that threaten not only the future of our Republic, but our children (think of the children!): Beyoncé's and President Barack Obama's appearance on

On Monday's "O'Reilly Factor," Bill spoke to Russell Simmons about "harmful entertainment marketed to largely unsupervised children" (and also Simmons' new book, "Success Through Stillness") when abruptly banked right and brought up Bey's sultry "Partition" vid, which, in his opinion "Glorifies having sex in the back of a limousine."

)

"Teenage girls look up to Beyoncé ... why on earth would this woman do that? When she knows [about] the devastation [of] unwanted pregnancies and fractured families," O'Reilly said. "I believe an entertainer like Beyoncé [has] an obligation to protect children, not put out exploitive garbage ... what she's done here is inexplicable."

To his credit, Simmons attempted to explain the inexplicable, pointing out that, in essence, Beyoncé was flipping decades-old gender stereotypes with the video — "There's research that says that a man thinks about sex every 12 seconds, so when an artist expresses something that's sexual in music, it's a reflection of our reality," he said. "If we want that reality changed, then we have to do things that affect the core." — but Bill was having none of it, incredulously calling into question Bey's art, and closing out the ...

Coldplay Tell Four New Ghost Stories During SXSW Gig

Coldplay couldn't wait to perform some new material from their upcoming Ghost Stories album on Tuesday night during the kick-off to the iTunes Festival at SXSW.

In fact, they were so eager, they opened their 11-song set at the Moody Theater at "Austin City Limits Live" in downtown Austin with the first tune on Stories, "Always in My Head."

During the gig, singer Chris Martin told the crowd, "We've been away a long time and I can't think of a better way to come back into the world than in the intimate surroundings of Austin and just a couple of hundred people and the millions watching at home." The gig was streamed live on iTunes as part of the kick-off to a five-night event that will also feature concerts from Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q, Soundgarden, Pitbull, Zedd and Keith Urban.

The band also gifted the crowd with the live debut of the recently released spare, Radiohead-like track "Magic" and previously unheard songs "Another's Arms" and the aforementioned "Always In My Head."

The set, which included crowd-pleasers such as "Paradise," "Clocks," "Viva La Vida" and "Fix You," ended with the Stories lead track,

Alicia Keys, Pharrell And Kendrick Lamar Warn ‘It’s On Again’

Alicia Keys and Kendrick Lamar have teamed up for the lead track from the upcoming soundtrack. The song, "It's On Again," was written by Pharrell Williams, Keys, K-Dot and film scorer Hans Zimmer.

"'It's On Again' with me, @kendricklamar @Pharrell and @RealHansZimmer!," wrote Keys in a tweet that also featured a street poster of Spider-Man.

"I'm very excited to be a part of such a powerful collaboration with Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell Williams and Hans Zimmer," Keys said in a statement about the album, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, due out on April 22. "This is the next chapter in the 'Spider-Man' legacy and we really feel 'It's On Again' captures the experience, the story — and most importantly — the meaning behind the film, which is that we all have the potential to be extraordinary. There's a little bit of a super hero in all of us."

Director Marc Webb said he was looking for the perfect song to close the film, one that would be "upbeat and exciting," but with just a hint of foreboding. "Alicia's song, 'It's On Again,' is the perfect end note," he said.

Webb also praised the score created by Zimmer and the Magnificent Six, which includes Pharrell, Incubus' Mike Einzinger, ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr, Junkie XL, Andrew Kawczynski and Steve Mazzaro. "Every director wants his movie to have a unique sound, but this is beyond unique," he said of the score. "It's completely unlike any movie score that's come before."

The album will also feature new music from the Neighbourhood, Pharrell, ...

Need To Know: ‘Game Of Thrones’ Stars Cover April Issue Of Vanity Fair

HBO's hit series "Game Of Thrones" had a big day in the press. A revealing interview with author George R. R. Martin was released the same day one of the show's most beloved actors opened up about his personal life. With the addition of a surprise album from Skrillex, that's one major weekday.

'Game Of Thrones' Stars Featured In Vanity Fair
The April issue of the magazine, on stands tomorrow, features Jon Snow, Khaleesi and the rest of the gang on location in Ireland. Shot by Annie Leibovitz, the portraits are as magical as the show itself. The interview, though, conducted largely with series author George R. R. Martin, is worrying. When the reporter points out that the show is catching up with the books, Martin's response is simply, "Yes. It's alarming... I'm hopeful that I can not let them catch up with me." Eep!

In Other 'GOT' News...
Props to actor Kristian Nairn, who plays the friendly giant Hodor on the hit HBO series, who recently opened up about his personal life. When prompted in an interview, released on Tuesday, Nairn announced he was gay. "I've never hidden my sexuality from anyone," he told the website. "I've been waiting for someone to ask about it in an interview... I've tried to lead the questions a few times, to no avail!" We hear you loud and clear, Horon! Though at the end of the day, it doesn't have any effect on our (very high!) opinion of him, as the actor himself said, "it's important to stand up and be counted."

‘Gotham’ Revealed: Your First Look At Fox’s Batman Series

Fox enters the superhero arena in the very near future with the network's adaptation of the Batman mythos. With the main cast now fully rounded out, Fox has taken the opportunity to reveal the show's official logo, as well as a synopsis for the series.

Starring Ben McKenzie as Gordon and David Mazouz as Bruce Wayne, "Gotham" is expected to begin production shortly. In the meantime, here's Fox's official release on what the origin series is all about:

Everyone knows the name Commissioner Gordon. He is one of the crime world's greatest foes, a man whose reputation is synonymous with law and order. But what is known of Gordon's story and his rise from rookie detective to Police Commissioner? What did it take to navigate the multiple layers of corruption that secretly ruled Gotham City, the spawning ground of the world's most iconic villains? And what circumstances created them — the larger-than-life personas who would become Catwoman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Two-Face and The Joker?

"Gotham" is an origin story of the great DC Comics super villains and vigilantes, revealing an entirely new chapter that has never been told. From executive producer/writer Bruno Heller ("The Mentalist," "Rome"), "Gotham" follows one cop's rise through a dangerously corrupt city teetering on the edge of evil and chronicles the birth of one of the most popular super heroes of our time.

Growing up in Gotham City's surrounding suburbs, James Gordon (Ben McKenzie, "Southland," "The O.C.") romanticized the city as a glamorous and exciting metropolis where his late father once served as ...

MTV’s Musical March Madness: Fall Out Boy Aren’t Here To Start No Trouble …

Fall Out Boy made a triumphant return in 2013, releasing a hit album, scoring a stadium-approved anthem, and touring the world.

And though it was a big year, FOB's comeback wasn't complete: Despite their best efforts, they came up short in the 2013 Musical March Madness tournament, getting upset in the Elite 8 by Walk The Moon.

View and share this year's bracket!

Now, as we gear up for the launch of MMM 2014 on March 17, Fall Out Boy are out to prove that this is the year they'll finally reign as tournament champions. The way they see it, it's not a matter of if they'll win, but, rather, when.

"When we win, we're going to do all kinds of glory dances, we're going to do a new version of 'The Super Bowl Shuffle' ... and we're going to get Refrigerator to be in it with us," FOB's Pete Wentz tells MTV News. "And if we can't get him, we're going to get an actual refrigerator."

And considering he's currently not dead there's a pretty good chance Fall Out Boy will be getting William Perry to take part in their MMM celebration — frontman Patrick Stump notes that "There's only four of us, so it will be very short" — but are FOB guilty of getting ahead of themselves?

Well, yes. Because before they can win MMM, they've got to actually make the tournament ... and that's where you come in.

Because this year, for the first time, we're letting ...
