If Kanye Is In The Top Five Rappers Of All-Time, Who Gets The Ax?

The debate over hip-hop's all-time greatest rapper is a subjective and polarizing argument with no end. Well, Kanye West added more fuel to that fire this week when he humbly tossed his name into the ring.

"I'm humbly top five of all time; dead or alive," Yeezy declared on Wednesday night when he took his Yeezus Tour to Albany, New York.

To give Kanye credit, his speech on this night was all about praising creative types, the artistic geniuses who may have got looked over in high school in favor of the jocks.

Still, by including himself in the fiery top-five debate, we can't help but wonder who gets left out if Kanye is in. Someone's got to make room.

Eminem
You'll be hard-pressed to find a lyricist as skilled as Marshall Mathers. When you factor in his worldwide popularity, towering influence and multitude of platinum plaques, there is no way you can make a top 5 list without Slim Shady, right?

Jay Z
Hov's run is unprecedented. He dropped an independent classic debut in 1996 and has reigned over rap ever since. Even at 44, Jigga's latest Magna Carta... Holy Grail proves that the calculated vet is still at the top of his game.

Nas
For 20 years, Nas has stood as a street poet and a respected lyricist. With 10 solo albums, and a couple of classics to his credit, go ahead and try to make a top five list without God's son. Dare you.

The Notorious B.I.G.
Though he only recorded two albums before he was murdered in 1997, Biggie is widely considered one of the greatest ...

Congrats, Ariana!

Wiz Khalifa, Snoop Dogg Rolling Up ‘Mac & Devin 2’ After Blacc Hollywood Album

Wiz Khalifa is prepping his 5th album, Blacc Hollywood, for release before the end of 2014 but the Taylor Gang rapper also has a few more tricks up his sleeve. A new Taylor Gang compilation is on the horizon, as well as the sequel to "Mac & Devin Go to High School" with Snoop Dogg. Wiz broke down his upcoming projects during Wednesday's episode of

New Single "We Dem Boyz"
Earlier this month, Wiz dropped "We Dem Boyz," the first official single from his upcoming LP Blacc Hollywood. "I love the energy of that song, it's just so fun and every time it comes on I go crazy, so I figured everybody else would too," he said. "Detail is the producer on it and he's so on right now, so we just made it happen." And the video is coming soon, of course. "We're gonna shoot the video in two weeks, I'm gonna go down south somewhere and eat some good food. [It'll have] definitely a lot of energy, because I wanna touch the people. Everybody who knows me, know I keep it simple. So [there will be] a lot of real people in the video."

"Drop It Down On It" Teaser
After premiering "We Dem Boyz," the Pittsburgh rapper also previewed a snippet of another song called "Drop It Down On It," without revealing where it would actually end up. "That's for my album Blacc Hollywood, which is gonna drop before the end of this year," he confirmed. Wiz joked that the song was made specifically for girls to ...

Lily Allen’s Album Title Will Probably Make Kanye Very Angry

Lily Allen has proven time and time again that she's not afraid to take a few shots at music's biggest names (and, uh, Azealia Banks) ... but her latest move may be her boldest to date: she's playfully swiping at Kanye West.

According to several reports, during her upcoming appearance on BBC One's "The Graham Norton Show" (which airs in the UK Friday night), Allen will reveal that she's calling her third album Sheezus, a none-too-subtle salute to West's most recent record.

"It's a confident title choice and a little nod to Kanye West," Allen tells Norton.

Confident, indeed. Of course, there's still no word on how West feels about Allen's homage (he's too busy proclaiming himself to be one of the greatest MCs of all time,) or, really, if Allen's album is actually called Sheezus ... reps for the singer did not respond to MTV News' request for comment by press time.

Then again, that title seems to fit with the cool, confident tone Allen is setting for her upcoming album: take, for example, the sublimely scathing single which snapped at the sexual politics at play in society and the music business.

There's still no release date set for Sheezus (or whatever the album is called); though late last year, a rep for Allen told MTV News she was working with frequent collaborator Greg Kurstin in the studio, and that the duo were "finishing up" the record for release in 2014.

Lena Dunham Lays Smackdown On Jezebel For ‘Gross’ Bounty On Her Vogue Photos

On January 16, polarizing ladyblog Jezebel offered a $10,000 bounty on unretouched images from "Lena Dunham's Vogue cover shoot; a stunt that left a lot of people wondering if Dunham would have something to say in response.

The answer? Yes, she does. And ooh, it's scathing.

First, the backstory: Jezebel made the internet an offer it couldn't refuse, in the form of a $10,000 reward for unretouched versions of the photos from Dunham's big, glamorous feature spread in Vogue's February issue.

It didn't take long for the pics to surface: 24 hours later a post went up proclaiming, "Here Are the Unretouched Images from Lena Dunham's Vogue Shoot," with accompanying side-by-side comparisons of the portraits before and after they'd been digitally altered. Jezebel's decision to call for these photos — as opposed to those of some other celebrity — almost certainly hinged on the hypothesis that Dunham, who looks decidedly unlike a conventional, cookie-cutter Hollywood starlet would need a particularly major makeover in post-production before she was fit for the pages of Vogue. And so it was interesting (and not a little gratifying) to discover that actually, the alluring shots of the actress and director had barely been altered at all. The biggest surprise: The pigeon in this photo was digitally added after the fact — which probably had less to do with Vogue's beauty standards and more to do with the fact that pigeons poop roughly every six seconds.

Meanwhile, Dunham's response at the time was largely confined to a single, dry tweet suggesting ...

Pharrell’s G I R L Features Daft Punk, Miley Cyrus And Justin Timberlake

Pharrell Williams is primed to drop his second solo album, G I R L, on March 3, and, according to a newly posted tracklist, it's going to be a big old reunion for Skateboard P. Yup, the record will include contributions from past collaborators and heavy-hitters including Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and Alicia Keys.

Noisey posted the tracklist for Pharrell's new record Friday (February 21), a list replete with girl-referencing titles ("Marilyn Monroe," "Lost Queen," and "It Girl") in keeping with the album's title.

"Women have been so good to me over this entire career and they've done so much for my family," Pharrell told BBC Radio 1 with regard to the title. "Everything I've ever gotten is because they've paid for [it], so they're, like, my bosses — indirectly and directly — you guys are like my bosses. So for me, I wanted to analyze that for a second."

Prior to this announcement, we already knew that the album would include "Despicable Me 2" soundtrack hit and Oscar-nominated jam "Happy." We also could have guessed that it would feature tons of guest stars; his 2006 debut, In My Mind, included appearances by Gwen Stefani, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, Charlie Wilson, Pusha T, Nelly and Slim Thug.

G I R L's tracklist, however, reads like a "This Is Your 2013" for Skateboard P, reprising match-ups with last year's big hitmakers. The only collaborator missing, it seems, is Robin Thicke. Maybe he'll catch P on the remix?

While we're all waiting for more info ...
