Exclusive: Capone-N-Noreaga Reuniting For War In One Night EP

Capone-N-Noreaga aren't throwing in the towel just yet. During a Wednesday (February 12) appearance on the C-N-N rappers exclusively revealed that they're reuniting to release the new EP War in One Night next month.

The Queens rappers dropped their debut album The War Report in 1997, and delivered a sequel with The War Report 2: Report the War in 2010, but there's a new chapter for N.O.R.E. and Capone on the way. After missing each other due to hectic travel schedules and passport issues, when they finally got up, they decided to just go all in.

"We did a whole EP in one night," N.O.R.E. explained to Sway. "When [Capone] told me he was ready, I wasn't ready, then I hit him said, 'You ready?' He said, 'Yeah.' So I did the whole EP, I sent it to him, then he sent me back he whole EP."

After trading work a few times throughout the span of one night, they ended up with a complete project, mixed and all. "We've got a Capone and Noreaga EP dropping called War in One Night, because we really went to war in one night," he added.

N.O.R.E. explained that he took note of Trinidad James' comment about New York rappers losing their identity pretty seriously, and kept that in mind as he was making new music. And although C-N-N hasn't released a joint album in almost four years, they were still very much in sync for this project.

"The thing about me and him, is that we could do records where he'll leave spaces open ...

Danity Kane Ready For An ‘Inspiring’ Reality Sequel To ‘Making The Band’

Danity Kane are no strangers to having their lives taped. They became a group and split up on MTV' s "Making the Band," reunited at the VMAs, and if it were up to the ladies, they'd have their own reality show too.

When MTV News caught up with Aubrey O'Day on the set of the 30-year-old singer teased that new music isn't the only thing the group has in the works.

"We are always filming something," the pop star said. "The group would love to share the next phase of what we're going through. And it's a lot. It's definitely TV-worthy."

But according to Aubrey, their show wouldn't be just drama and cat fights. Instead, the foursome would want to focus on inspiring fans at home.

"There's a lot of crap on TV, and I love rich dumb people just as much as everybody else does, but we can put a few more inspiring people on television as well," she said. "Inspiring doesn't mean boring, inspiring just means, makes you feel yourself. We, like, zone out and watch TV to escape ourselves, but television, when it makes you feel yourself, it's even more powerful."

While the group has been working nonstop on their third album, a release date is still to be determined. One thing is for certain, you'll be hearing something from DK in 2014.

"There's going to be new music this year, released to the fans, absolutely," Aubrey said. "How we do it and in what form is still being discussed, and you know, we have deals on the ...

T.I. Reveals How He Got Jeezy And Rick Ross To Make Up

Having seen his fair share of trouble and rap beefs, T.I. knows first-hand how costly controversy can be. So he had some great advice for his friend Jeezy and his former rap rival Rick Ross.

"I ain't gonna say I brokered peace and got them in the studio, I simply said to one of my closest partners in the game — Young Jeezy — I simply said to him, 'We done did as much as we can do with this. It's gone as far as we can take it, ain't nothing else to do'," he told MTV News on Tuesday while he was driving up to Los Angeles. Tip called to talk about his role as Lucas Frye on Showtime's "House of Lies" and working alongside acting greats like Don Cheadle and Mekhi Phifer. But I pressed T.I. about the newly released single off Rick Ross' Mastermind that pairs Rozay and Jeezy.

The contention between the two began brewing around August 2010, when the Snowman released a freestyle over Ross' "B.M.F." instrumental, and escalated until it reportedly got physical at the 2012 BET Hip Hop Awards.

Now, with the release of "War Ready," it seems that all the two rappers have buried the hatchet.

"If it ain't nothing that can't be talked about, that hasn't gone so far that a mother---er can't come back and do what the f--- we do man, get money. War costs money," Tip said. "Young ain't the type of mother---er you can just tell what to do, but if you can present something ...
