Future Opens Up About Rihanna/Ciara Feud In Rare Interview

For as much as we hear Future on the radio, the Atlanta hit-maker is surprisingly quiet in interviews, most times choosing to shy away from the details in his personal life. But in his new The Source cover story, the Astronaut Kid opens up like never before, letting readers into his musical process as well as his relationship with girlfriend Ciara and her beef with Rihanna.

"Sometimes it's hard to open up about your personal life, your relationship because you always want the music to be in the forefront. You want the music to be the biggest carrier of everything that you represent," Future told MTV News of his interview in the July 2013 issue.

The cover, which MTV News is exclusively premiering was shot by Zach Wolfe and features a hooded-Future up close and personal against a spacey, purple back drop. On the inside the Astronaut Kid details his rise to stardom with writer Shaheem Reid. He talks about learning the rap ropes from his cousin, OutKast producer Rico Wade, his current string of hit records with Ace Hood and Lil Wayne and his upcoming singles with Jennifer Lopez and Miley Cyrus.

He also dishes on his with Ciara and wonders how her feud with Rihanna affected their collaboration. Future felt the song should've been a single. "We never shot a video, we never performed it. I don't know whether it was because of that situation or if just the time hasn't come up," he says in the issue, which hits stands on June ...

Rihanna’s Topless Billboards Clothed By Modest Irish Vigilantes

Two years ago, Rihanna rankled a farmer in Northern Ireland with a barely-there bikini top she wore during her ... and though said farmer subsequently forgave her (even going so far as to call her "a nice girl,") well, it turns out her salacious style has once again angered some folks on the Emerald Isle.

Seems that some in Dublin have objected to billboards promoting RiRi's upcoming show at Aviva Stadium — said billboards prominently feature her topless, a la the cover of her Unapologetic album cover — and are expressing their displeasure in a fairly creative way: by stapling actual dresses over her naked body.

Yes, the modest vigilantes have clothed at least two Rihanna billboards in the city (one of which was so large it actually required two dresses to cover up), a move that recalls a similar tactic employed by some rather prudish New York City residents — yes, they actually exist — last month on a Beyonce H&M bikini ad, when they repeatedly censored a bus-stop advertisement of her with a sheet of paper.

Of course, some Rihanna fans have already struck back: One Dublin resident reports that a previously covered billboard on Church Street "has been disrobed," jokingly adding: "Shocking loose morals in this country. Lord bless us all."

So far, Rih has remained silent on the matter ... though you can probably guess how she feels about the whole thing. Her Diamonds world tour heads to Manchester tonight, with four shows in the UK scheduled for next ...

Taylor Swift ‘Ready’ For New Music … Sort Of

NEW YORKTaylor Swift was in between Red Tour dates Wednesday night when she stopped by the Fragrance Foundation Awards to accept the award for Celebrity of the Year. And even though she has more than 40 dates between now and December, that doesn't seem to be stopping the 23-year-old from making new music — or at least start thinking about it.

"I'm getting ready to start thinking about it," she told MTV News on the red carpet, before making her way up to Toronto, Ontario, for her next show. "Because my record, it just came out and I'm trying to give my mind a second to like, 'OK,' because when I write a record, I write until I cannot write anymore, I drive myself crazy and then finally the album comes out and I give myself a few months off so I'm still in that time."

In the meantime she's "BFFing it up" with tourmate Ed Sheeran alongside newcomer Austin Mahone, who, before hitting the road with Taylor, originally asked to collaborate on a single.

"My manager called me. They are like, 'We originally wanted to get a song with you and Taylor,' but Taylor's manager was like, 'Forget the song, let's go on tour,' " Mahone told MTV News earlier this spring. "I'd rather go on tour than do a song. You know, a song might come out of that.' "

So who knows, maybe T. Swift will find the time to help the with his request ... that is, if he finds the ...

Drake And DJ Khaled’s ‘No New Friends’ Strategy? Call Up Old Friends

DJ Khaled seems to follow his "No New Friends" mantra in his personal life. While the charismatic record producer surely meets new folks every day, he places a lot of value on his longstanding relationships. How else do you think he's able to gather MCs like Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Drake to contribute to his new single?

"It's not a sales pitch. With Drake, first of all Drake's my friend. He's family; he's a team," Khaled told MTV News of his "No New Friends" collaborator.

On Sunday, MTV Jams premiered the throwback-styled "No New Friends" video, where Khaled and Drake reenacted a scene from what was supposed to be their 1996 lives. The actual single was released in April, but it took Khaled quite some time to get it done. "Last time I worked with Drake was two years ago [on] 'I'm On One.' It took me damn near a year to get that record done. It took me two years to get this record done," he revealed.

"I'm On One," like "No New Friends," features Drake, Weezy and Ross. The combination was so good that the song hit #1 on the Billboard rap charts in 2011 and has since sold more than three million copies. But that type of magic isn't easy to duplicate — especially with busy artist schedules. "Drake's a real creative person, I'm a real creative person and sometimes it just doesn't match that time to do what we gotta do," Khaled said. "Not anybody can just work with a Drake and I know that. As ...

Channing Tatum Gets Crazy With Pair Of Scissors In ‘White House Down’ Clip

Jeopardizing the safety of the free world may be a big deal, but according to Jamie Foxx's President Sawyer in "White House Down," there are some lines that cannot be crossed.

In Roland Emmerich's new film, the president and an aspiring secret-service agent named Cale team up after a mysterious terrorist launches an attack on the White House. In an exclusive new clip from the film, the duo face a pair of killers with enough firepower at their fingertips to take down the building by themselves.

As Cale races to safety behind a kitchen counter, a black-clad killer opens fire on him, following his movement with a seemingly nonstop trail of bullets. Meanwhile, Sawyer battles against his own foe for a gun that's just out of reach, eventually succumbing to his frustrations after his opponent grabs his sneakers.

"Hand off my Jordans!" snaps Sawyer, kicking the man in the face and immobilizing him.

Sawyer grabs the gun and runs to help Cale, who attacked his adversary when he stopped to reload, but found himself quickly overpowered. As he's held hostage, Cale yells to the president, thinking he can free himself. "Shoot, shoot!" he says as he struggles, before realizing that he's not going to be able to break free. "No, don't shoot," he says, acquiescing to his captor's viselike grip.

As the president puts on his glasses, contemplating what to do next, Cale seizes on a moment of inspiration and jams a nearby pair of scissors in the man's leg. The man's grip starts to loosen — but is it enough to save Cale ...

‘Man Of Steel’ And The Great Ratings Debate: PG Or PG-13?

Some heroes seem custom-built for hardcore realism and the more mature ratings that go along with their films. Iron Man's hobbies include flirting and carousing, just as Batman's include an unrelenting quest for merciless vengeance. When these heroes were placed in PG-13 films, no comic-book writers stepped up to oppose the decision. That's not been the case with "Man of Steel."

Writer Greg Rucka, who has penned plenty of acclaimed superhero comics for DC during his successful career, wrote an op-ed piece for The Hollywood Reporter that succinctly summed up the reason for caution.

"I don't know if this is a genuine caution to parents, or a marketing decision aimed at a demographic too-cool for Superman's brand of hope and idealism, yet embracing of Batman's self-loathing rough justice, to assure them their ticket will be money well-spent," writes Rucka. "I don't know if that PG-13 is there out of sincerity or cynicism or politics. I just know that if you make a Superman movie you can't take kids to, you've done something wrong."

In order to put Rucka's thought-out point into perspective, as well as hopefully reach a consensus on the Great Rating Debate, we rounded up a panel of specialists for their thoughts.

"So long as Superman, as a character, is committed to securing for this PG-13 Metropolis a more PG-to-hard-G tomorrow, this Superman fan is willing to accept the tone. That said, Superman should reflect sunlight just as he absorbs and renders it to leap tall buildings. With their story in 'Adventures of Superman' #1, Jeff Parker and Chris Samnee ...

Seth Rogen Had No Problem Killing Off Michael Cera In ‘This Is The End’

"This Is The End" boasts one of the most impressive casts ever assembled for a comedy. But even playing mock versions of themselves, one imagines that at least a few of them might have been reluctant to embrace the jerky personas they were forced to adopt for the film. Michael Cera, who plays one of the worst characters in the film, however, evidently leapt into the challenge with both feet.

"What's funny is how he had almost zero comments on it whatsoever," Seth Rogen told MTV News. "We sent him the script and I think we got back literally an email of him saying, 'I'm in!' And then we didn't talk to him until he showed up on set."

In the film, Rogen, Cera and their co-stars all play cartoonish exaggerations of themselves, in some cases feeding off the public's perception of them, and in others, such as with Cera, inventing an entirely different personality. Rogen explained that the rest of the cast had made comments about Cera in their scenes that the "Arrested Development" star eagerly interpolated into his performance.

'This Is The End': The Reviews Are In!

"We had filmed other people talking about him a lot, because we refer to him a lot throughout the movie," Rogen said. "So we were like, OK, he's just some of the stuff other people have said about your character — people have been happy you're dead, they think you're terrible, it's crazy. And he was like, OK, great, cool! And that was like it. We would say, OK, go! And he did ...
