Watch: Lady Gaga Gets A Gun In First ‘Machete Kills’ Trailer

It was last summer that director Robert Rodriguez made the shocking announcement that music superstar Lady Gaga would be making her big-screen debut in his "Grindhouse" spin-off sequel, "Machete Kills," as a character named Lady Chameleon. The announcement would have been hard to believe if it wasn't for the in-character picture that accompanied it, and now there's a trailer showing in full femme fatale mode.

Providing just a few short glimpses of Lady Gaga, the first preview for "Machete Kills" just debuted over at Yahoo! OMG! En Español, and it looks just as insane as we expected. Danny Trejo is back in the title role, leading a cast that is essentially engineered to cause controversy.

In addition to Lady Gaga, "Machete Kills" also counts Mel Gibson, making a rare appearance as a maniacal arms dealer, and Charlie Sheen, playing the president of the United States and credited by his birth name, Carlos Estévez.

The trailer focuses mainly on the large and diverse cast, which also includes Sofia Vergara, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Michelle Rodriguez and Cuba Gooding Jr.

"Machete Kills" is the first of two sequels that Rodriguez is producing this year alone. He is now in post-production on "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For," the follow-up to his hyper-literal 2005 adaptation of the Frank Miller comic books. That movie also boasts a killer ensemble that includes Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, Josh Brolin and Eva Green. That film is scheduled for release this October.

"Machete Kills" opens in theaters on September 13.

M. Night Shyamalan Plots Out ‘Unbreakable 2’

M. Night Shyamalan's pedigree as an auteur might have fallen far enough that he's second- (or third-) billed on "After Earth" following Will and Jaden Smith, but he's still crafted some of the most beloved stories of the past 15 years. And in a recent conversation with MTV News' Josh Horowitz, Shyamalan indicated that he might be getting closer to revisiting one of those stories, the superhero movie-without-a-comic book "Unbreakable."

When asked how much he's thought about the possibility of returning to the world of superhuman heroes and villains populated by Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, Shyamalan said, "I have seriously... as long as it can be connected to something that I'm feeling right now, then it'll work for me. It'll be valid and I'll enjoy it. If I feel like it's a mechanical thing and I'll be doing it because it'll be profitable or successful, that will just be hollow."

The first film hinted at a series of others in which Willis and Jackson's characters square off against one another. Shyamalan said that the film accurately represented his artistic ambitions at the time, and it will take that sort of connection to a follow-up story in order to get the ball rolling on a sequel. "I can look at the movies, and regardless of their success or their reception, they're honest to me and they represent who I am — and that's an amazing thing to be able to say," Shyamalan said.

M. Night Shyamalan Reveals Why His Shelved Screenplays Get Dusty.

Lil Wayne, Paris Hilton Bond Over Jail, Amsterdam In Interview Chat

On the surface, the hookup still makes no sense. Lil Wayne is a rap megastar who has built a hip-hop empire on the back of his outlaw image, while his latest signee, Paris Hilton, has built an empire by ... being Paris Hilton.

The odd couple and labelmates
sat down for a chat recently in Interview magazine, during which they bonded over their time behind bars, the premature rumors of their deaths and their love of Amsterdam.

The chat opens with Hilton recalling how she first met Weezy at one of his Grammy parties in Los Angeles, when he called her to host the event. "He really has this charisma," she said. "When he walks into a room, he just has this power that's exciting to be around."

Wayne remembered meeting Hilton and then looking up and seeing her DJing. "She was at the dance, she had the mic," he said. "It was really nice. She has fun, and I like that. I like people that enjoy life, 'cause I do the same."

When Hilton asked what was the most bizarre rumor Wayne had read about himself, the Young Money boss said the reports of his (alleged) death during a seizure scare

Other things we learned:
» Both love the club LIV at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami.
» Wayne's favorite thing to do is chill with his four children.
» Though Wayne's rock album Rebirth got mixed to bad reviews, Weezy was happy with the response to it and Paris bought it and "loved it."
» Wayne doesn't listen to anyone else's music ...

‘Transformers 4’ Autobot Upgrades: What Do New Identities Mean For Franchise?

"Transformers 4" is giving Optimus Prime and two new Autobots shiny identities. The C7 Corvette Stingray and the 1,200-horsepower Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse that Paramount Pictures debuted on Wednesday are rumored to be Slingshot and Drift, respectively — one is a classic "Transformers" character from the 1980s mythology and another is from IDW's 2005 comic-book reboot of the franchise.

But what does their identity — and in Optimus' case, upgrade — mean for the future of the "Transformers" films? There are a number of intriguing possibilities.

In 1986's "Transformers: The Movie," Optimus Prime famously died fighting Megatron and paving the way for young, brash Hot Rod to take over as leader of the Autobots. While there's been no indication that the fourth film will make a similar transition — into a "next-generation" Autobot and Decepticon cast — Optimus' transformation into a sleek new cab suggests at the very least that the series is looking forward and creating new, evolved personalities for the characters fans know and love. (Giving them a paint job probably can't hurt after all of the carnage they endured in the first three films, either.)

Slingshot was originally conceived as a plane — one of the Aerialbots — although he was absent from the team during their appearance in 2009's "Revenge of the Fallen." But one can't help but expect that, even in four-wheeled form, the character will retain his trademark, annoying self-aggrandizement, especially since Michael Bay has demonstrated a propensity for populating his films with oversized, often slightly obnoxious personalities. That said, the ...

Blake Shelton And Usher Team Up For ‘Healing In The Heartland’ Tornado Benefit

On any other night, when you see Usher and Blake Shelton sitting side-by-side the pair are exchanging friendly digs and teasing one another on "The Voice."

But on Wednesday night they joined a roster of country greats to raise money for the victims of the May 20 tornado
that took the lives of 24 people in Oklahoma during the
telethon organized by Shelton.

The show opened with ominous images of the F5 twister that all-but flattened the city of Moore and Shelton's performance of "God Gave Me You," which featured the lines, "But you stayed here beside me/Watch as the storm blows through/And I need you." Shelton, a native of Ada, Oklahoma, organized the one-hour concert benefiting the United Way of Central Oklahoma at the sold-out 14,000-capacity Chesapeake Energy Arena. The special aired on NBC, as well as CMT, Style, G4, Bravo, E! and Palladia.

"I'm here tonight with some of my closest friends from Oklahoma and beyond to join in and help with the rebuilding and recovery of this land that means so much to me," he said.

One of the night's highlights was an emotional performance of "The House That Built Me" by Shelton's wife, Miranda Lambert. The country star, whose mission was to raise awareness about the animals affected by the storm, was so overcome with emotion midway through that she began crying, prompting the audience to sing for her as she regained her composure.

Shelton and Usher capped the night of touching tributes with a duet on Michael Bublé's "Home," which featured Shelton strumming an acoustic ...

Speaking with Washington radio station 93.9 WKYS, the recently announced said that Bey and Michelle Williams' response to The-Dream-penned collaboration was endearing, with Bey telling Rowland that she "never left" her side.

"She heard how real I was and was like 'I'm so proud of you,' " Kelly explained.

Even though "Dirty Laundry" tells listeners of the story of Kelly's envy with Beyoncé's solo success, Rowland has come far past that point, explaining, "What matters to me most right now is what we have. I love her and Michelle more than anything. They mean the world to me. I'm so grateful for what we have as sister away from Destiny's Child."

All the love and sisterhood can be heard on Kelly's latest song "You've Changed," which features none other than Beyoncé and Michelle. Until then, Rowland is staying busy on tour and at the "X Factor" judging panel alongside Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato and Paulina Rubio. ‘Menace II Society’ Legends O-Dog And Caine Reunite On ‘RapFix Live’

In hip-hop culture, there are certain works of art that shape the way a generation views the world. Mostly, they come in the form of albums like the Notorious B.I.G's 1994 debut Ready to Die or Young Jeezy's 2005 classic Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101. As far as films go, offered the same type of unfiltered look into street life when it was released on May 26, 1993.

For some, it was a most-accurate depiction of a too-harsh reality, and for others, it was a gruesome eye-opener to the violence-ridden streets of South Central Los Angeles. " 'Menace II Society' itself was a groundbreaking film," said actor Larenz Tate when he skyped into "RapFix Live" on Wednesday (May 29). "It's definitely going to go in the vaults of classics in all of cinema. The Hughes Brothers created an incredible project. Just gave the world something a little different than what we had seen in previous films in that same genre."

Tate played O-Dog, a trigger-happy youth who murders two Korean shopkeepers in the opening moments of the film. On his side was actor Tyrin Turner, who played Caine, a troubled youngster with a conscious. In the final tear-jerking moments of the film, Caine is killed in a drive-by shooting, just as he is getting set to leave South Central and start his life on the straight and narrow.

"I thought it was just gonna be another film," Turner admitted while he sat on the "RapFix Live" couch.

"Menace II Society" was anything but. While "Boyz n the Hood" and ...
