Dog And Beth Chapman Go ‘On The Hunt’ With New CMT Show

After their long-running show came to an end last year, Duane “Dog” Chapman and his wife, Beth, were looking for a new home, and now they’ve found it on CMT. The couple’s brand-new program, is set to premiere this Sunday on the channel.

But how will this show be different from their previous outings? Well, for starters, this time, they’re leaving Hawaii and taking their hunt across the country.

“Instead of just hunting in Hawaii, we’re going nationwide now. We’re going to every city, in every state, looking for the bad guys,” Dog said. “[And we’ll be] training [bondsmen] how to hunt, Dog-style. It is absolutely fantastic.”

Every city. In every state. Sound impossible? Well, apparently it isn’t. Dog-style knows no boundaries. And, what’s more, while the Chapmans — joined on the show by son Leland — are on the hunt, they’ll be working with local bail bondsmen, helping them catch fugitives and passing along years of expertise, from writing bonds to the implementation of tactical tracking and high-tech device training. This is serious stuff.

“Filming this show with CMT has given us a broader ability to reach our fans and serve our professional industry in a way no other bail agent ever could,” Dog told us. “We are meeting with the families of heroes who at times lay their lives down to protect fellow Americans.”

“CMT gives Dog a chance to do what he loves best: catching fugitives and changing lives while showing America that bail agents are needed much more than they realize,” his wife Beth added.

Don’t make Dog track you down and watch! premieres Sunday, April 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CMT.
