‘Glee’ Locks In Even More Original Cast For 100th Episode

More and more Gleeks are signing up to appear on the 100th episode of “Glee.” Show creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed several more fan favorites will show up on the episode airing next March on Fox.

Heather Morris, otherwise known as ditzy cheerleader-turned-MIT student Brittany S. Pierce, will be back, as well as occasional “Glee” actress and Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth. Chenoweth played a former member of Mr. Schuester’s high school glee club, April Rhodes, who is now a Broadway actress.

They join previously announced “Glee” stars Harry Shum Jr. (who played Mike), Amber Riley (who recently won “Dancing With the Stars” and played Mercedes) and Mark Salling (who played Puck and appeared in the Cory Monteith tribute episode).

However, there is still no word on if Dianna Agron will show up for the big reunion episode, which will air on Tuesday, March 18, 2014, when the show moves back to its previously held Tuesday night time slot after spending some time on Thursday nights.

The episode will also include 10 tunes voted on by fans. The campaign, billed as “Glee 100th Gleeks Choice: You Vote. We Remix,” closed out Tuesday. The 30 tracks in the running included “Bad Romance,” “Forget You,” “Like a Prayer” and “Toxic.” Now it’s only a matter of time before fans get to hear which songs made the final cut.

According to E!, a source shared that during the episode, themed around graduation, “most of the songs will be sung by the Originals, with special guest stars as well. The Old New Directions.”
