Here’s What You Think Of Jennifer Lawrence’s Nude Photo Comments

It was nearly six weeks before actress Jennifer Lawrence publicly commented on the hacking and release of nude, personal photographs of herself, but when she did comment, she made it count.

She called the hack “a sex crime” and laid out her anger not only at the hackers, but at those who looked at the pictures. (Including people she knows personally.)

“Anybody who looked at those pictures, you’re perpetuating a sexual offense,” Lawrence said. “You should cower with shame. Even people who I know and love say, ‘Oh, yeah, I looked at the pictures.’ I don’t want to get mad, but at the same time I’m thinking, I didn’t tell you that you could look at my naked body.”

Lawrence’s comments sparked immediate discussion, with many praising the actress for being outspoken and clear, dropping statements such as “I have nothing to apologize for.” Others, however, thought that Lawrence should have realized the risks that taking and sending personal pictures posed.
