Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx To Have A ‘Mean’ Reunion In New Movie

Reunited and it feels so mean. Fans of Quentin Tarantino’s should be pleased to find out that Jamie Foxx and Leonardo DiCaprio will hit the big screen together again, in what sounds like a very different project.

“Mean Business on North Ganson Street” follows two police officers who team up to solve a string of attacks against the police department in a Missouri town. When the two detectives become targets, they take on the criminals for themselves, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The story is based on the upcoming crime novel by S. Craig Zahler, who will also pen the script. While a director has not been announced, DiCaprio will also produce the film along with his Appian Way production partner Jennifer Davisson Killoran.

The much-buzzed-about “Django Unchained” racked up all kinds of award nominations and wins, including seven MTV Movie Awards nods. Back in April, Foxx went home with a Golden Popcorn for Best WTF Moment along with Samuel L. Jackson.

The news of Foxx’s latest role comes on the same day his new action flick, hits theaters. The flick finds Foxx playing the president alongside his pal, Channing Tatum.

Meanwhile, DiCaprio will next play a financial mastermind in Martin Scorsese’s new biopic, due out in November. The film, which follows the rise and fall of financial prodigy Jordan Belfort, marks the fifth collaboration between Scorsese and Dicaprio.
