Rihanna has been shining bright in diamonds while back at home in Barbados. The selfie queen headed down for the Crop Over Festival, and has been lighting up social media with behind-the-scenes photos.
The Unapologetic singer has been spotted twerking and partying like the local she is alongside her “legendary” grandpa and inner circle of pals, including “Best phucking friendz 4Life” Melissa Forde and “love of my life” Jennifer Rosales.
On Monday, during the annual Grand Kadooment Parade, Rihanna partied it up in a diamond-encrusted bikini, headband and big, white wings to celebrate the annual harvest festival. She kicked off the Instagram spree with an eyebrow-raising shot of her in the back of a car, before she headed to the streets. Her inspiration for the look? “All white errthang.”
It’s hardly the first time that Rihanna has headed home for the gathering. In fact, she even posted a side by side of her 2013 barely-there, sparkling look with a bright red costume she wore back in 2011, before she got her Isis tattoo on her chest last September.
The VMA-nominated singer is currently between legs of her Diamonds World Tour, which will pick up again on September 13 in Macau. And it’s clear from the photos that Rihanna really does stand by this sentiment, “I love my country #Barbados.” Party on!
