It’s no secret that actress Lupita Nyong’o, who launched from obscurity to number one girl-crush in the past year after she tore onto the Hollywood scene with a breakout performance in “12 Years a Slave,” is pretty well near flawless. Wait, scratch that: She is flawless. She topped Best Dressed lists the entire awards season, and has a gorgeous face that we just can’t look away from. It doesn’t hurt that she’s humble, well-spoken and generous as well.
With that in mind, we couldn’t wait to see what she would turn up in at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards.
Nyong’o, who presented Jared Leto with the Best On-Screen Transformation award for his work in “Dallas Buyers Club,” didn’t disappoint. She turned up in a colorful, multi-layered, three-dimensional short look that fit the playful attitude of the evening, and even donned a chic pair of black-framed glasses for her presentation.
