We’ll be getting a lot more than five seconds when 5 Seconds of Summer hit up the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards — which, I might add, is fitting, considering the VMAs are the event of the summer.
Ashton, Calum, Michael and Luke will perform onstage on Sunday, August 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, joining Ariana Grande on the roster of stars performing at the awards show.
And although this means the guys will have to cancel two of their Where We Are Tour stops with One Direction (Dallas [8/24] and St Louis [8/27]), the band will be making the 5SOS Fam proud at the iconic Forum in Los Angeles.
