Move over, Miss Cleo! There’s a new psychic in town and he goes by the name of Lohanthony.
Is your lover cheating? Do you have financial frustrations you need resolved? Well, the Internet sensation has your answers … or maybe not. But when he stopped by the MTV News studio earlier this summer, Anthony Quintal, better known by the World Wide Web as Lohanthony, tried his hand at reading, eh, some fortunes.
While his predictions weren’t necessarily accurate — “You’re going to be reincarnated as Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s next child,” he told one customers — he made a not so new of an announcement to another — “Oh, it’s just like I thought: you’re basic.”
And although he’s never been to a psychic IRL, Lohanthony confessed to being a believer.
“I’m obsessed with horoscopes, like if you go on my following lists on Twitter there’s a bunch of like Gemini ones because I like to keep updated with that stuff,” he said. “It will usually relate to the mood that I’m actually in, currently, I don’t know how it does that, it’s like always relating to what’s going on, which is super weird.”
