It’s finally here, you guys! The day we’ve been waiting for since last year’s show ended—the 2014 Video Music Awards. The brand new Forum is ready for performances by Sam Smith, 5 Seconds Of Summer, Nicki Minaj, Jessie J, Ariana Grande, Beyonce, and more. We are also ready. We are so, so ready.
We’ll be keeping you up-to-date on every single thing we see on the red carpet right here in Inglewood. If Taylor Swift has a new ‘do, you’ll know. If Nicki Minaj arrives in a mask again, we’ll let you know. If two people show up in the same thing, you’ll get an update. We also are fortunate to have the help of Rachel Antonoff who, as host MTV.com’s Red Carpet Report, will be getting into the #FASHUN nitty-gritty with everyone she can.
The pre-show—hosted by Lucy Hale and featuring performances from Charli XCX and Fifth Harmony—kicks off on MTV starting at 8 p.m. EST. We’ll be updating throughout the day, though, so keep checking in for all thangs VMA, all day.
