But the year is no longer 2013, and Ariana Grande is no longer merely a Nick star (not that she was merely that then, but just go with it), nor is she merely a pre-show performer. Just 12 months later, her transition to full-fledged chart-topping bombshell is complete—and what put her over the edge is the insane[ly awesome] Moschino leather mini dress (repeat: Leather. Mini. Dress.) she’s wearing at the 2014 Video Music Awards.
