The formula for “Are You The One” seems simple: 10 guys and 10 girls live in a beautiful mansion, all on a mission to correctly identify their perfect matches — which are based on a series of previously conducted compatibility and matchmaking tests. If they’re able to go 10/10 in 10 tries — combined with weeks of competitions, nominating their fellow cast mates to find out who science (also known as the Truth Booth) says is their one-and-only, attending Matchup Ceremonies to test their choices, and taking some trips to the “Boom Boom Room” — they’ll share one million dollars. The Season 1 gang were able to successfully strike gold — as well as experience one epic proposal that led to a baby on the way — but will the cast of Season 2 share the same fortune in love and money? Or will they leave Puerto Rico empty-handed?
In the trailer below, Ryan Devlin outlines the challenges ahead and introduces a new twist: One lucky man has TWO perfect matches, making way for an 11th girl. Sounds easy enough to find a true connection when they’re standing right in front of you, right? Well, not for this group which, as Ryan points out, “sucks at relationships.”
