Dang, Nas wasn’t kidding when he said 2014 was going to be “the year of Illmatic.” To celebrate the 20th anniversary of his debut album, he will kick off a tour and one-time-only screenings of his Time Is Illmatic documentary in select theaters starting tomorrow. But did y’all know he also announced the re-release of his clothing line, HSTRY, this week? *bows down*
HSTRY
The brand–which initially launched last fall in collaboration with Grungy Gentleman–is back with its first-ever solo collection. According to the website, the 25-piece line “speaks of Nas’ personal journey and motivation with vibrant, original graphics and color-blocking extolling an era that birthed legends and shaped decades to come.”
HSTRY
The ’80s and ’90s-inspired fall collection features everything from logo bucket hats to colorblocked sweatsuits to graphic tees, which range from $40 to $90.
HSTRY
In the fall lookbook, we get to peep rapper Bishop Nehru and style icon Everard Best wearing some of brand’s streetwear staples in the scenic streets of NYC, but apparently this first collection “merely scratches the surface” of what’s to come. Check out even more looks from the line below, and to shop the full collection right this second, head on over to HSTRYclothing.com.
