Is Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie’s friendly post-separation relationship a hint that the couple is trying to make amends? Or perhaps they’re just keeping things super-civil for the good of son Luca?
Talk of the former heated up when Duff and Comrie were spotted holding hands and smiling at the Casamigos Halloween Party Friday night in Los Angeles. They were also seen shopping for Halloween costumes and pumpkins with Luca on Saturday.

Since their split in January, Duff and Comrie have been seen together regularly, both with and without their son. Duff told E! News back in May that they still have no idea what the future will hold.
“We love each other so much and we love spending time together…so when you see us out it’s not just for Luca, it’s because we make plans and we hang out and we don’t know what our future looks like right now but we’re both doing really good and just figuring out what makes us happy.”
We totally understand that grey area in a relationship where you need to work through issues separately while also re-evaluating your coupledom, and we applaud Duff and Comrie for maintaining a united front – and a healthy, ever-evolving love for one another – for the good of themselves and their child.
There’s obviously a reason why they haven’t filed divorce papers yet, and – whatever the end result – we applaud their thoughtful approach to this separation.
