A little more than a month ago, the world lost James Gandolfini, loved for his role on “The Sopranos.” Gandolfini, always a busy man, worked right up until his untimely death at 51 years old, and a few of his films have yet to come out.
One of them is “Enough Said,” a romantic comedy starring Gandolfini and “Seinfeld” alum (and current “Veep” star) Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The movie is set for release on September 20, and MTV News is proud to bring you an exclusive, never-before-seen clip from the film.
“Enough Said” tells the story of a new love and the awful coincidence that could bring it all to an end. Louis-Dreyfus stars as Eva, a divorced massage therapist who is looking to meet someone unexpected. That’s when she meets Albert (Gandolfini) at a party and begins an unexpectedly fulfilling relationship with him.
The new romance blossoms just as Eva takes on a new client, Marianne (Catherine Keener), a woman who is desperate for a friend and someone to talk to after her own divorce. Unfortunately, it doesn’t take long for Eva to realize that the horror of an ex that Marianne describes to her is the very man she just started dating.
In our exclusive clip for MTV’s Fall Movie Preview, Eva and Albert enjoy a breakfast together, and he demonstrates a unique talent. He can recall the entire TV lineup from a specific channel and era. “I was kind of raised like a veal,” he says. “I was put in a dark room and fed and told not to move.”
“Enough Said” opens in theaters on September 20.
