Jonas Brothers Promise Final Few Songs On The Way

The Jonas Brothers may be over, but their music will live on … even if it’s brand new.

On Friday (November 1), Kevin, Joe and Nick took to their Facebook page to once again confirm that they have broken up, but to share that since fans have “waited so long for new music,” they were giving them a digital-only album to Team Jonas club members.

The album will include four new studio recordings off their album V, which will no longer be released, and 10 live tracks that were performed during the course of their summer tour. Details of the release would be sent to Team Jonas members shortly, but presumably the album will feature their most recent singles, “Pom Poms” and “First Time.”

“We hope you enjoy this album as much as we’ve enjoyed performing for you over the last 10 years,” the brothers said. “It has been an amazing experience.”

The trio echoed the sentiments they shared recently on “Good Morning America,” saying that even though the “decision didn’t come lightly” to end the band, they were “choosing to simply be brothers.’

In addition to explaining the breakup, the group also thanked their fans — who will “always be the best fans in the world” — for their unwavering support and dedication.

“We would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has supported and inspired us through the years, and stood by us in this difficult decision,” they wrote. “We feel and appreciate your love.”

This won’t be the last fans see of Nick, Joe and Kevin, though. They’re just focusing on their own career paths now. Kevin, who is preparing for first-time fatherhood, is starting his own entertainment company, while for Joe and Nick, the focus is on music and acting. Nick is starring in the upcoming thriller “Careful What You Wish For.”
