Jennifer Lawrence Addresses All Those Hospital Rumors At NYC ‘Catching Fire’ Premiere

Jennifer Lawrence is not ill, but appreciates your concern.

The actress was all smiles at the New York premiere of on Wednesday (November 20) and was actually quite amused by reports of her rumored hospitalization earlier that day.

“My publicist was just telling me that the last story that’s out is that I went to the hospital because I had gas. Which, I was like, ‘I’d like to confirm them. I think we should,'” she joked with MTV News’ Josh Horowitz on the red carpet. “I had my first fart in the hospital!”

And the laughs didn’t stop there. The good-natured Lawrence said that she was “so excited” to see her co-star Josh Hutcherson host “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, but was mortified at the idea of being spoofed on the sketch comedy herself. “Oh no! That’s gonna be a very rude awakening,” she said. “I can take jokes when they’re pointed at other people — nobody make fun of this! I’ll get pissed!”

But talk turns to the end the beloved franchise — production on “Mockingjay,” the final installment, is already well underway — the 23-year-old turned (almost) serious.

“That breaks me in half,” she confessed. “I love these movies, I love my boys and Uncle Woody. It’s gonna be so awful when they’re over. I’m gonna be like that crazy lady that’s still showing up to set.”

To be fair: Uncle Woody sounds like he’d be a lot crazier.

The NYC event is the latest in a string of global premieres, including screenings in London, Rome, Paris, Madrid, Berlin and Los Angeles. Needless to say, if JLaw had been feeling ill — we would have forgiven her for it.
