They’re models, reality TV stars, fashion designers and now, Kendall and Kylie Jenner can add authors to that list.
The stars penned their first young-adult novel titled “Rebels: City of Indra: The Story of Lex and Livia,” which is set to be released June 3.
According to the publisher, this dystopian thriller centers around the journey of Lex and Livia, two super-powered girls who grew up in different worlds — Lex in an orphanage and Livia on a floating island. The two girls are reluctantly bound together after Lex’s friend Kane is in danger, and Livia can help her save him. However, what they don’t know is that they are actually twins, which in their world is forbidden.
“Kylie and I love the creative challenge and are thrilled to have been given the opportunity to share this story,” Kendall said to E! News, while her sister added, “We can’t wait to share these characters and the world we created with readers everywhere. We are so excited!”
The book’s cover features a woman’s eye hanging above a futuristic city with an image of a female body in the center with a beam of light shining through her.

“I can’t believe that my little girls are little authors,” Kris Jenner told E!. “It’s a little sci-fi journey, so you’ll get to read all about Lex and Livia through the eyes of Kendall and Kylie.”
Kendall and Kylie are following in the footsteps of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe, who released their novel, “Dollhouse,” in 2011. The book took a page out of their real life, focusing on three high-profile sisters with a complicated family.
