Go ahead and file this one under “questions you probably never ask yourself unless your name is Emma Stone“: “Oh my god, Is Mel B. talking to me?” Because the answer is probably no.
But if you are Emma Stone, then watch out. Scary Spice is totally talking to you.
The real-life star of “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” freaked out hardcore and was overwhelmed to the point of tears this week when she visited Australia 2Day FM’s Jules, Merrick & Sophie With Mel B. radio show to promote the movie. As it turns out, former Spice Girl Mel B., Scary Spice herself, was unable to be on the show that day, but did leave a message for Stone.
After incredulously asking, “Wait, Mel B. could have been here?” Stone proceeded to breathe heavily into the microphone, stare intensely at the two remaining hosts, then burst into tears. To cap it all off, she sang the rap segment of “Wannabe.” Yes, she still knows all the words, and yes, it was flawless.
“You guys, I’m really excited about this. I’m legitimately excited,” she said. Yes, we, uh…noticed.
