L’Wren Scott Funeral Includes A Tribute From Mick Jagger

A week after her suicide, fashion designer L’Wren Scott was laid to rest at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery on Tuesday in a small, private affair attended by only close friends and family, including longtime love Rolling Stones singer Mick Jagger.

Scott, 49, who was found in her New York apartment
 on March 17, was eulogized by Jagger, 70, during the hour-long ceremony, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The stylist’s brother, Randy Bambrough, also spoke, as did Jagger’s daughter, Karis, and Scott’s friend actress Ellen Barkin, who both read poems. Another one of Jagger’s daughters, Jade, read a psalm, as did his grandchildren, Mazie and Zak. Longtime Rolling Stones backing vocalist Bernard Fowler performed the gospel standard “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” with accompaniment on guitar by former Eurythmics member Dave Stewart.
