Not even a jail sentence can come between Chris Brown and his fans. The singer is currently behind bars until April 17, but he couldn’t go that long without speaking to Team Breezy, so he delivered a message through his girl Karrueche Tran.
Brown was arrested in Los Angeles on March 14 for violating probation, and he will remain in custody until mid-April, when he will stand before a judge for an assault trial in Washington D.C.
In the meantime, Breezy just wanted to check up. He relayed a message through his sometimes-girlfriend, who played it back to her followers on Instagram with the hashtag #TeamBreezy.
“I’m calling all my fans, letting ya’ll know I love ya’ll. Thank ya’ll for all the support,” he said in a voicemail message. “Thanks for everything. The video just came out so I hope ya’ll enjoyed that.”
And, of course, there was a little something extra for his girl. “And most importantly, K, Karrueche, I love you,” he added.
Brown was arrested last month after being kicked out of a Malibu rehab center for violating “internal rules.” He was ordered to complete 90 days of treatment in the facility to deal with his anger management issues, and he was eventually diagnosed with PTSD and bi-polar disorder.
In October he spent two weeks in a rehab facility after being arrested for assaulting a man in Washington, D.C.
Chris Brown’s X album finally arrives on May 5, and this summer he will also release Fan of a Fan 2 with Tyga.
