From the sounds of it, Josh Hutcherson and Sam Claflin were more than happy to get a break from the grueling shoot for the two-part “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” set to jet in and snatch up some golden popcorn on Sunday night at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards
And after six months of hard-core action, Hutcherson clearly had to let loose a bit when MTV News’ Josh Horowitz caught up with him backstage and asked him how the win felt to sang Movie of the Year. “Yeah, I feel so f—ing good,” said a smiling Hutcherson, his arm slung around Claflin’s shoulder. “It’s a f—in’ awesome moment!”
Somewhat shocked by his co-star’s profanity, Claflin told Hutcherson he’d earned the right to let the f-bombs fly. After all, the Cincinnati, Ohio, native had also snagged the Best Male Performance award for his star turn in “Catching Fire.”
“Small cog in a very big machine,” Claflin said of his chance to get into the “Games” in the role of Finnick. “Obviously it’s a privilege for all of us to be a part of something so amazing.”
