Two years after the comedic power couple announced their separation, Will Arnett has formally filed for a divorce from his wife of nine years, Amy Poehler.
The two announced that they were “amicably” separating back in September of 2012, but it wasn’t until last week that Arnett, 43, formally filed divorce papers in Los Angeles, according to People.
They have two sons together, Archie and Abel, and Arnett is reportedly asking for joint custody.
This is Poehler’s first divorce, while Arnett was married to Penelope Ann Miller from 1994 to 1995.
Before their split, the couple had made several appearances together on television and in feature films, including “Arrested Development” and “Blades of Glory.”
