Gwen Stefani May Replace Christina Aguilera On ‘The Voice’

As much as Christina Aguilera loves her red seat on “The Voice,” but it might not be so comfy for an expectant mother.

Luckily, she’s got another badass diva ready to fill in for her: Gwen Stefani.

The No Doubt singer will replace Christina on the upcoming seventh season of NBC’s hit reality singing show, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She will join fellow newbie judge Pharrell Williams, who will fill in for Cee Lo Green. Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are espected to return for season seven, which begins filming in June.

XTina announced her pregnancy in late February, just a week after she and longtime boyfriend Matt Rutler were engaged.

Back in 2013, Aguilera took a hiatus from the show, saying her main reason was to focus on her family.

“I needed to decompress, wind down the clock and just breathe,” she told Redbook in November. “I needed to find out who I am outside of that red chair. We did three seasons, and I wanted to disengage and have my life back and be with my son — put my sweatpants on and wipe my makeup off.”
