After all our hoping and praying, Miley Cyrus was released from the hospital.
A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Miley is feeling better and is on the mend.
“She’s doing much better,” the insider told the mag. “She had to get it all out of her system. It hit her hard.”
Cyrus was hospitalized for a severe reaction to an antibiotic. The singer had the flu at the beginning of the month, and was forced to pull out of a show in North Carolina. A few days later, she had postponed many of her April Bangerz Tour dates until August.
After being hospitalized on April 15, her rep released a statement, saying, “This type of extreme reaction can last from five to 27 days in these types of cases. … Miley is devastated about missing shows and possibly disappointing her fans.” Miley has been very vocal about missing her tour dates, expressing her frustrations on Twitter.
MTV News’ request for comment to Miley’s rep was unanswered by press time.
