Beyonce and Blake Lively, who starred in Bey and Jay Z’s “Run” tour trailer, hung out Tuesday night at Gucci’s second annual Chime For Change event in NYC. The “Halo” songstress is a co-founder along with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini and Salma Hayek of the charity, which funds and promotes awareness for women’s education, health and justice. Bey also spent time with sister Solange as she spun tunes in the DJ booth.
The Biebs With Songz
Justin Bieber took to Twitter to announce that he lent his vocals to Trey Songz on the “Foreign” remix. The track is part of the singer’s upcoming LP Trigga. Trey Songz told MTV News excited to have him on his album also!
Will Smith Joins The NFL … Kinda
Will Smith is in talks to star in a yet-to-be-titled drama based on a GQ magazine article that shed light on the serious consequences of NFL players’ concussions. He would play Dr. Bennet Omalu, who discovered that some of these affected football players developed a degenerative disease, which can cause depression, memory loss and changes in behavior.
‘Doctor Strange’ Has A Director
It’s official! Scott Derrickson will put on the director’s cap for Marvel’s “Doctor Strange.” Previously, he wrote and directed horror flick “Sinister” and is currently working on a film called “Two Eyes Staring.”
New Music From ‘Let It Go’ Songwriters
Let’s go! The songwriters of the smash hit “Let It Go” from the movie “Frozen” are embarking on a new project: a musical! Robert Lopez and Kristen-Anderson Lopez will pen songs for a romantic comedy musical called “Up Here,” which is set to debut at San Diego’s La Jolla Playhouse in 2015.
