G-Eazy recently told MTV News that he’s out for “ultimate world domination” with his debut album, These Things Happen, which dropped last week. And everyone knows a key to world domination of any kind, including ultimate, is to get Rick Ross on a remix. And that’s what happened on Tuesday (July 1).
“I Mean It,” one of the singles from the recently released disc, was given the Rozay treatment, as the MMG boss tacked a verse onto the Remo- and Christoph Anderson-produced beat. With gruff-voiced rhymes about his expensive lifestyle, Ricky delivers just what you’d expect.
And if you haven’t watched the video for the original — a cool concept where G plays a news anchor and people from around the world watch — check it out below.
Later this month, the Oakland native will be performing at the mtvU Fandom Awards and MTV Fan Fest at Comic-Con International: San Diego, which go down at Petco Park on July 24.
