Last week’s episode of “American Horror Story: Freak Show” featured a killer cover of David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” from Jessica Lange, but the series’ second episode, “Massacres and Matinees,” took things even further — all the way to 1996, to be exact.
Sarah Paulson’s two-headed twins Bette and Dot (well, Dot, with a little bit of help from the tone-deaf Bette) took on Fiona Apple’s MTV VMA-winning song “Criminal,” and after watching their take it’s pretty safe to say that we’ll never need to hear the one-headed version of this song again:
