Believe it or not, but “The Legend of Ron Burgundy” began ten years ago today. While “Anchorman” is basically as much a part of pop culture now as it was in July 2004 — things still “escalate quickly and really get out of hand fast” — looking back at the original story of the Channel 4 News Team is always a good time.
My favorite piece of video from the making of “Anchorman” has to be Steve Carell’s audition video for the role of Brick Tamland. In the tape, Brick eats a “falafel hot dog with cinnamon and bacon on top,” and the room loses it.
