Watch Beyonce Interview Jason Biggs About ‘American Pie’ For The 15th Anniversary

by 7 mins ago

Today (July 9) marks the 15th anniversary of the now-classic teen sex comedy “American Pie.” A lot has changed in the last 15 years, and this video of Beyoncé interviewing newcomer Jason Biggs for MTV on the carpet of the 2000 MTV Movie Awards is probably the best example of that.

First of all, yes, Jason Biggs and Beyoncé interacted, and she was the one interviewing him. Second, while Jason Biggs still has a young-looking mug in “Orange is the New Black,” it’s pretty amazing how he’s pretty much baby-faced here. (Note on things that don’t change — Beyoncé is basically ageless.)

The interview itself is a lot of fun, with Beyoncé getting in her own version of “This one time, at band camp.” Also, Jason Biggs can now count himself as someone Beyoncé said looked sexy, which means he should be eternally happy.

So check out the video, celebrate 15 years of “American Pie,” and try to remember a strange, scary world where Beyoncé co-hosted an MTV Movie Award red carpet … with Sisqo. Remember Sisqo? Oh the times, they’ve a-changed.

Watch Tom Hanks Dance For Justin Bieber While Dressed As A Rabbi

by 5 mins ago

What follows is quite possibly the greatest, most important Instagram video of all time. Prepare yourself. Ok, you ready?

It’s Tom Hanks dancing to (and singing the chorus to, obviously) Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It” while dressed as a rabbi.

As if that wouldn’t already explode the internet, it was taken by Justin Bieber at Scooter Braun’s wedding, which Hanks was at because he’s Tom Hanks and doesn’t need a reason to do anything. Bieber then posted it to his Instagram, so we could all share in the magic.

90s nostalgia meets movie star meets Justin Bieber, told through social media. Yeah, we’re pretty sure the Internet just blew up.

13 Actors You May Not Know Are Related To Huge Hollywood Stars

by 15 mins ago

A lot of reports of actors with famous relatives are a bit, well, over-the-top. I can point to the coverage of “Girls” when it came out as an example of this, where all four actresses were accused of getting to the top because of nepotism, even though some of the connections weren’t exactly earth-shattering, and Allison Williams and Zosia Mamet didn’t exactly care about hiding their famous dads.

Nepotism is a loaded word, implying a negativity surrounding sons and daughters wanting to go into the family business, which in any other industry is completely accepted.

With that in mind, here are 13 current actors who are related to some pretty big-time Hollywood names, and we say, more power to ‘em!

13. Dakota Johnson Is Don Johnson And Melanie Griffith’s Daughter

That’s right, Anastasia Steele herself has a a heck of a Hollywood pedigree, as the daughter of “Miami Vice” star (and Kenny Powers’ father) Don Johnson and “Working Girl” star Melanie Griffith.

12. Mariska Hargitay Is Jayne Mansfield’s Daughter

Mansfield was one of America’s biggest sex symbols before her tragic death, but daughter Hargitay keeps her mom’s flame burning as the tough-as-nails Olivia Benson in “Law and Order: SVU.”

Watch The Stars Of ‘Transformers: Age Of Exctinction’ Play F–k, Marry, Kill With Robots

by 26 mins ago

What robot would you f–k?

That’s really the central question of the very special game of “F–k, Marry, Kill” that MTV News’ Josh Horowitz played with the stars of “Transformers: Age of Extinction” in a new “After Hours.” The stars have to pick from Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and baddie Galvatron.

Pretty much everybody ended up marrying Optimus, including Mark Wahlberg. “Optimus is my right-hand man,” though he also said he “wouldn’t have sex with any of them.”

As Kelsey Grammer said, Optimus is a “model citizen,” which would certainly make him a great husband.

A surprising number of stars ended up f–king the new bad guy, Galvatron, including Grammer, which makes sense, since he informed us that “I like wild bitches. That would be the wildest ride.”

New castmember Nicola Peltz went for Optimus for the physical relationship too, and costar Jack Reynor agreed, though neither was too comfortable with the answer

“I’m sweating,” Reynor said.

But what about poor Bumblebee? While Peltz would put the ring on his robotic finger, Ben McKee of Imagine Dragons, who wrote the end credits song for the movie, imagined (dragons) a darker fate for the fan favorite, prompting a big debate among the group.

“Don’t kill Bumblebee!” exclaimed Daniel Platzman, while a displeased Dan Reynolds was unhappy Ben was “speaking on behalf of all of us.”

So if Imagine Dragons breaks up, chances are it was over this game. But at least Bumblebee knows he’s loved.

“Transformers: Age of Extinction” opens June 27.

Watch All 141 Transformations From The ‘Transformers’ Movies

by 5 mins ago

The “Transformers” trilogy does not skimp on what its title promises: transformations, and lots of them. They range from really, really small (a Decepticon turning into a stereo), to really, really big (the mammoth truck monster from “Transformers 2″), and really, really weird (a girl who turns into a robot while making out with Shia Labeouf).

All told, we counted 141 (!) transformations in the three movies, and, to get ready for “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” compiled every single one of them into an epic supercut.

But just in case that’s too much for you, here are the 11 best transformations from the movies, in GIFs!

11. Megatron’s Awesome Introduction (“Transformers”)

Megatron

Megatron breaks into the movies in a big way, going from jet fighter to his colossal self on a dam while Starscream transforms in the background.

10. The Robot With No Name (“Transformers: Dark of the Moon”)

Desert

The Clint Eastwood of Transformers. Why does he have a cape? Why do you care? It looks awesome.

9. Mecha-Optimus Prime (“Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”)

Mecha_Prime

Because Optimus wasn’t cool enough, they decided to give him a ton more armor and made him fly. Now he’s cool enough.

8. The Pink Transformer Decepticon (“Transformers: Dark of the Moon”)

Pink

It’s every little girl’s birthday wish to have a hideous bird-robot which can transform into a little pink Autobot.

7. The Mountain Dew Transformer (“Transformers”)

Dew

Sure it’s shameless product placement, but it shows that the level of detail on Bay’s transformations is stunning. Plus, ...

What Hollywood Can Learn From Kevin Hart, Its Newest Movie Star

by 24 mins ago

Kevin Hart is your new box office king.

Well, not really new: he’s been the box office king for all of 2014, from when “Ride Along” dominated the box office for weeks starting in January, and then when “About Last Night” overperformed on its opening weekend.

It should’ve come as no surprise to hear that “Think Like a Man Too” was number one at the box office this past weekend, earning upwards of $30 million* on a budget a third of that, playing on thousands of fewer screens than runner-ups “22 Jump Street,” “How To Train Your Dragon” and “Jersey Boys.”

There are a few reasons “Think” did so well, all of which would be worthy of, er, think pieces: mainly that it targeted an African-American audience that is largely ignored by Hollywood; and it featured a diverse cast with crossover appeal.

But the three main reasons the movie dominated? Kevin Hart, Kevin Hart and Kevin Hart.

Hart has been giving the moniker as the hardest working man in show business, and it’s not hard to see why. He’s already starred in three movies in 2014, and his IMDB page lists seven additional future.

The fact is, Kevin Hart’s movies are successes now because he’s a movie star.

Don’t believe me? Let’s look at the numbers. Hart’s last three films have all made at least four times their budget back. “Ride Along” made $125 million ...

Will Bill And Sookie End Up Together? ‘True Blood’ Stars Discuss

by 11 mins ago

This Sunday, “True Blood” fans will begin their final goodbye to the sexy, violent show after seven seasons. That means we’ll have no more Bill and Sookie love after this summer, which also means no more of Bill’s infamously hilarious way of pronouncing “Sookie.”

But MTV News was able to catch up with Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin at the premiere, and we asked them how their characters would be going out.

“I think that by the end, regardless of who she ends up with, she has accepted who she is and what she wants to be, in whatever form that ends up being,” Paquin said. “It’s not actually specifically [about] who she ends up with. I think that’s ultimately where we kind of leave her.”

To start the season, Sookie is with Alcide the hunky werewolf, though both Eric and Bill are almost certainly still in the mix.

Speaking of Bill, he ended last season losing all the superpowers he get when he drank Warlow’s blood. So that means no more visions, and no more super-duper strength, which has to be hard for anyone to reconcile, much less a centuries-old vampire. How’s he dealing with all that?

“He is rethinking everything that has happened to him over these years, since he came to Bon Temps,” Moyer said. “I think he feels like he’s got some wrongs to right, and some mistakes that he made need to be corrected.”

Is one of those mistakes losing Sookie? Will the two live happily ever after, or will ...

‘Hellion’ Star Aaron Paul Tells Us What He Was Like At 13

by 06/13/14

Aaron Paul is an established, respected TV and movie actor, whose latest film “Hellion” sees him playing a father of a teenager (played by Josh Wiggins).

But Paul wasn’t always so respectable, especially when he, like his on-screen son, was thirteen.

“That’s eight-grade summer, right? That was the greatest summer of my life,” Paul told MTV News in advance of the movie’s release in theaters. “The summer nights in Idaho, roller-blading around, sneaking into girls houses, getting chased away from their fathers. It was so fun!”

Paul apparently was a bit of a wild child. A real Jesse Pinkman, maybe?

“I wasn’t a bad kid, but I just liked to roller-blade and make out with girls,” Paul responded.

“Hellion” is also filled to the brim with heavy metal music, but the chill Paul probably wouldn’t have any of it playing on his iPod.

“Definitely not metal, but I think it’s a perfect fit for this film,” Paul noted on his personal music choices. “I’m more of like a Radiohead guy.”

The young star also wore another hat in the film (in addition to the one he was wearing during the interview), taking on the role of Executive Producer. How was he as an EP on set?

“I have no idea, I still don’t know what I’m doing, let’s be honest,” Paul joked. “I had a hand in who was going to be in the film, who I thought would be good for Jacob. It was very important to all of us to find the right kid, because it’s ...

‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’: Watch Our On Set Visit With Megan Fox

by 06/09/14

With Reporting By Josh Horowitz

Get ready for some heroes in a half shell, because “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” is coming.

In anticipation of the reboot of the beloved franchise, we visited the set of the upcoming movie and spoke to stars Megan Fox and Will Arnett. And Fox, who plays news reporter and friend of the turtles April O’ Neil, couldn’t have been more excited.

“They were my favorite movies as a kid,” Fox said. “That was my thing. Way, way more so than ‘Star Wars’ or in later years, still more than ‘Lord of the Rings.’ It was always ‘Ninja Turtles.’”

It apparently wasn’t a totally platonic relationship either, as Fox developed some strong feelings for one of the turtles in particular.

“My first crush, and everyone thinks this is really weird, but little girls have crushes on animated characters, and my first crush was Michaelangelo,” Fox revealed. “So I’m super excited.”

Sorry, other turtles. Looks like you’ll have to find someone else. Fox and Michaelangelo are the next big Hollywood couple.

Perhaps the most defining aspect of April O’ Neil is her redder-than-red hair. But how red was too red?

“We went through many shades of red, and then we toned it down to a deep auburn,” Fox said. “But when they color time the movie it will be more red, FYI.”

We also caught up with Will Arnett, who plays cowardly cameraman Vernon Fenwick, who confirmed that both pizza and Splinter will play major roles in the film.

“Absolutely, Splinter is crucial,” Arnett said. ...

The Rules Of Movie Time Travel Explained In 90 Seconds: Watch

by 06/07/14

Time travel is impossible everywhere except Hollywood, where it seems to come up at least a few times a year (just take the new Tom Cruise flick “Edge of Tomorrow”). In fact, it’s so common in movies that “time travel movie” might as well be its own genre. And there’s one thing these movies have in common other than defying the laws of physics: the characters love talking about the rules of time travel.

Can’t get enough time travel? See the rules of movie time travel explained in one inforgraphic!

Every movie from “The Time Machine” to, well, “Hot Tub Time Machine” has had fun trying to explain to the audience just what the characters can and can’t do. Can you change the past? If you’re Bill and Ted or Marty McFly, sure! If you’re Kyle Reese in “The Terminator,” not so much.

The rules of movie time travel are pretty complicated, but you don’t have to be Stephen Hawking to enjoy as your favorite movie characters explain them to you.

The biggest rule, though, might come from the aptly-named Basil Exposition from “Austin Powers”: just sit back and enjoy yourself.
