It’s time to push that salad away and head toward the confections; the Janoskians are declaring that “Real Girls Eat Cake.”

The Aussie bad-boy released the new track and video on Monday (May 12). It’s their first single since last year’s “Best Friends,” which I can finally get out of my head now.

If you’re in need of positive affirmations and body love, here it is — all set to a ’90s ska beat.

“I don’t need a girl to worry ’bout a thigh gap/ I like the fact that you don’t give a sh– about that/ I like a girl who eats more than salad on a date,” the guys sing. “To me you’re prettier than Adriana Lima/ The way you’re work it when you’re looking in the mirror.”

When we caught up with the guys at Wango Tango on Sunday night, they explained why they wrote the song.

“We wanted a fun song that was jumpy but also at the same time sent a message to girls that you don’t really need to worry about the size you are and all that stuff,” James Yammouni told MTV News. “Be you. Being yourself is beautiful and who cares if you have a slice of cake.”

Ed Sheeran turned Friday into a real sobfest.

The British singer continued with his new music Fridays with the release of “All of the Stars,” which will run during the credits of the “The Fault in our Stars,” starring Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort.

“I can hear your heart on the radio beat/ They’re playing ‘Chasing Cars’/ And I thought of you/ Back to our time/ How you and I used to be,” he sings, remembering listening to Snow Patrol with a lost love.

The video features clips from the movie and a wall filled with positive affirmations like “Don’t panic” and other inspirational quotes from John Green’s novel. Ed sits on a couch, singing the song’s final lyrics “I can see the stars from America.”

Katy Perry‘s Prismatic World Tour opened last night in Belfast, and some Lady Gaga fans were calling her out on Twitter for using some Born This Way Ball elements in her show. And now Mother Monster herself has a little something to say.

“It looks like green hair and mechanical horses are the thing now,” Gaga tweeted on Thursday (May 8).

It’s true; during her set, Katy did wear a green wig and rode onstage on an Egyptian horse, although they were not exact replicas of Gaga’s. She also strapped chairs to her body in Gaga fashion and sang atop an egg-like dress.

Now, of course, we can’t say that the tweet was directing at Katy, but after observing last night’s evidence, it might be safe to assume.

Katy Perry is bringing back Kitty Purry in a big way. On Wednesday (May 7), the singer kicked off her Prismatic World Tour in the U.K. complete with a hot-pink catsuit and felines for dancers. Oh, and a giant, carpeted cat playground for a set.

Katy Perry cat-lady status? Up 1,000 percent.

The “Cat-oure” part of the set list, which Katy leaked on her Instagram earlier Wednesday — has her dancers dressed as if they were in a Broadway production of “Cats,” crawling up and down the set. Except this time, they’re not singing Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Memory,” they’re singing “Hot N Cold.”

After almost a month away from the stage due to an infection, Miley returned to her Bangerz Tour on Tuesday night (May 6). And fans? They received her with open arms and lighters.

The London comeback at O2 Arena introduced a lot of new looks, including a long-sleeved leotard made of money and a rhinestoned leo with giant 3-D lips. See some of the looks below!

Miley Cyrus is putting the rumors to bed and becoming fully transparent before her London concert Tuesday night (May 6) — her first show since emerging from her hospital bed.

During a press conference at the O2 Arena in the U.K., Miley laid it all out for reporters, setting the record straight about her absence.

“I didn’t have a drug overdose. I took some sh––y antibiotics that a doctor gave me for a sinus infection and I had a reaction,” she said.

The “We Can’t Stop” singer had to postpone eight dates of her Bangerz Tour due to the infection in April and May, making tonight’s performance her first since April 13 in Columbus, Ohio.

“You have no idea how ready I am. There is nothing I would rather not do than lay in a bed for two weeks. It was the most miserable two weeks of my life,” she said, according to People.

As for her recovery, she has it all taken care of.

“I’m the poster child for good health,” she said. “I’m on this crazy vitamin rush and crazy honey and lavender. I learned a lot about taking care of yourself.

“I’m probably the only one on this tour who doesn’t drink or smoke before a show, as I take this really seriously,” she said. “It’s almost like being an athlete being up here, because if someone was f––ed up, they definitely couldn’t do my show.”
